Hey forum folk..

Ok after a distracted browse on the forum, well I couldn’t find info related to (PGR) weed. so here you go, feel free to share your input.

:welcome:

I forget the different kinds but they're is one that makes all buds dense and golf ball like instead of having the shape of the strain makes them all look the same. It also ruins the resin making it less potent and flavorful, but some people like pgr buds when they see them because they are dense. This yields a grower more weight so ppl selling their crop used it. Who knows what they do to your body. Then they have natural growth hormone in plants like kelp alfalfa crab/lobster shell and exoskeleton of bugs. If you are organic it's good to use those things in your soil mix.

According to internationalhighlife.com below is a list of possible PGR products.

Common Plant Nutrients that Contain PGRs
Unfortunately, it’s not always easy for growers to know which products contain PGRs. Some nutrient manufacturers disclose PGRs in the fine print of their ingredients lists, while others deceptively omit them altogether. Here’s a partial list of products that either contain or are suspected of having PGRs:
  • Boonta Bud
  • Bushload
  • Dr. Nodes
  • Flower Dragon
  • Gravity
  • Phosphoload
  • Rock Juice
  • Rox
  • Mega Bud
  • Super Bud
  • TopLoad
  • Yield Masta/Sudden Impact
California has banned many of these products, but they’re still available..

feel free to correct this list or add along please...

PGR weed vs. natural weed: is there really that much of a difference?
According to a recent review in the Journal Drug Testing and Analysis, pesticide contamination is a growing problem in cannabis. On a molecular level, researchers have found traces of various pesticides and PGR molecules in various samples of cannabis. Therefore, if someone is consuming PGR weed, these chemicals are surely getting inside the body–the effects of which are largely unknown. 1
But PGRs don’t merely change the chemical structure of weed. According to most anecdotal testimonies about PGR cannabis on Reddit, this weed has a distinctly different flavor, effect, and texture than naturally-grown weed.
Since PGRs work by interfering with the natural hormones of the plant, it’s no wonder these buds often have depleted cannabinoid and terpene concentrations. Instead, what customers get are artificially dense nugs with mild trichome counts. Likely, you won’t feel the same level of a high or smell any dankness with PGR weed.
Simply put, the PGR weed experience isn’t the same as natural cannabis.

If people knew the deal they probably wouldn't buy pgr buds. Once you've smoked real bud especially truly great homegrown or bud grown at a connoisseur level you wouldn't want that stuff. It looks good to the less informed because it grinds out like crazy. But bottom line if people don't buy it and say that is pgr im not smoking that things would change. Problem is ppl don't always have alot of choice if their in a black market

Good point and I guess many are not even aware about PGR or it’s potential problems .

Like alot of things in this world from how the food is produced, to cosmetics, cleaning products etc even tooth paste. I remember seeing a meme of a mutant and it was like after 20yrs of pgr bud lol I tried finding it again but couldn't. It's like people think we have the sum of all knowledge and everything we do today is right. I'm sure people using radiation as a health tonic thought it was the right thing or cigarettes being good for you. Frank Zappa had radioactive stuff put in his nose because they thought it would heal something. It's like if it's the mainstream accepted idea it has to be right and your stupid because "you don't believe in science" bs. It's like people think we have all the information and nothing they have been told will ever be proven different or worse was a lie meant to benefit those lying.

Zappa was often sick as a child, suffering from asthma, earaches and sinus problems. A doctor treated his sinusitis by inserting a pellet of radium into each of Zappa's nostrils. At the time, little was known about the potential dangers of even small amounts of therapeutic radiation,[9]: 10  and although it has since been claimed that nasal radium treatment has causal connections to cancer, no studies have provided enough evidence to confirm this.[10] from Zappa's wiki
