New Grower First ever grow, Northern Lights auto. Wish me luck!

So I'm just starting my first ever grow.

Details

Space: 2’x2’x4’ tent. I’ll be trying some LST to keep the height down
Veg/Flower Lights: Spider Farmer SF1000 quantum board running at 24hr schedule. Initially dimmed to lowest setting, around 10,500 lux @ 24" above coco.
Strain: 00 Seeds Northen Lights Auto
Grow Medium: 60/40 Coco/Perlite mix
Nutrients: Canna nutrients: Start, A/B, Rhizotonic, Calmag Agent, PK 13/14, Cannazym, Flush, Boost
Pot Size: Single 3 gallon fabric pot
Ventilation: 4” Black Orchid Mixed Flow inline exhaust fan at 187m3/h hooked up to a Carbon Filter (both in tent). Using passive intake at the moment and a 6” oscillating fan 6" above pot. Inline fan is hooked up to IC308 temp controller to keep temp between 20 and 25°C
Environment: Tent stabilised around 20-24C 60% RH. Got a small dehumidifer which on max setting can lower tent RH to around 40-42.
Water Source: Starting with distilled water at around 6.7pH /50ppm to which I'll add calmag to boost to around 200ppm before adding other nutrients. I have an Apera PC60 meter and a cheapo pen pH meter as backup.


I've got a couple of sensors running from a raspbery Pi to keep an eye on temp/soil temp, humidity and soil moisture.

This is the readings for the last the last 24Hrs.

Got a mini cam set up too as I want to try making a timelapse and for keeping an eye on things without opening up the tent too much.

Got my seed soaking in distilled water lowered to pH 5.5 for about 4hrs now. Will check in after around 12hrs to start with paper towel germination method.

How am I doing so far?

so after around 8hrs, the seed sunk and I've transferred to damp paper towel in an almost closed/inflated ziplock bag in a nice warm dark spot. Will check it in 24hrs

Thanks, means a lot to hear my setup is ok. This first grow is one big fun learning experience for me, hopefully with something nice and smokable at the end.

Any new growers reading this, Damp paper towel is key. Damp lets the seed/tap root crawl to the damp. Too wet is problematic.

Nice set up! I’m 5 weeks in to my first grow, will be following yours now too as I’ve been looking at getting the same qb for my next grow.
Can I ask what the software and probes etc are that allow you to monitor your temp/rh etc?
