I remember the first time I grew, was around 2000-2001. I got about 4 ounces of 'hey not bad' dope first time. Second time, half pound of 'that's pretty good'.

There's a gag about the best weed you'll ever have is the one you've got, which in prohibition, is a little dark.

I learned from growing that the best weed you'll ever have is the one you've grown :D

I got a lb+ off of 7 autos this year, it hits like a hammer  and it cost maybe $250 to do. Could prob cut that by 40% if I paid more attention.

Now that I've said that, I think I will

Hallelujah to growing your own.

Thats awesome bud!! I got a lb almost on the knuckle off 8 autos this outdoor season....not a complaint especially considering mold toss and early chops!

The big stick is nice and solid and is about 20 years old, it is the biggest plant I have ever grown.
It started outdoors in 60 liter pot but the landlord decide to paint the outside of the house, so i had to move it up four flights of stairs.
I had a large walk in wardrobe 4' x 6' x 8' tall I had to bend the branches and tie them down with rope and bricks.
She topped out at 9' when i cropped her.
The little one was a result of my dwarfing technique and yielded 2.5 Oz on a 12" plant, you can see by the lighter the size!
A big bit of the height was a top cola which is why it looks so short!
Unreal! Hahaha. Love that.

Hello

Been lurking and wanted to say hello. I have been growing on and of for some years, both photo and auto and happy with my results so far, but with the knowledge and help here I want to improve.
I was gifted some seedstockers beans and will make a journal. I have grown with most kinds of pots, and will grow the seedstockers Critical xxl in some autopots with coco. I have heard this strain is good to make extract from, but not grown it before. I make oil for some family members and butter too.
I grow with led light now, chinese lights, but want to try the COB lights and replace them. Not that I am unhappy with the chinese, but the COB look more efficient from what I have seen.
My space is 150x300x220 cm and have some vegging space too and a little micro growing.

Good to be here and hopefully learn and share what I can.

Hope this was the right place, there was a message on the front page saying to post here.
hey buddy welcome to afn. theres some pretty prolific med makers floating about these parts and your definately in the right place to improve your skills. nice size grow space youve got there. im sure @epenguin would love to have a peek inside. were all very nosy here so pics or it didnt happen lol. glad to have you aboard mate. happy growing : )

We call money things like , dosh, moola, bread, dough, bacon as in bringing home the bacon, bank as in I made bank.
A lady godiva is cockney for a fiver (£5)

here's how to remember cockney slang for different amounts of money.

A Cockney knows all about money
Cos its what make his world go around
But he doesn’t say money, he says Bees and Honey
When talking about pennies and pounds

A pound in the Smoke is a Nicker
A hundred of them make a ton
And what rhymes with Nicker but old Alan Whicker
And that’s just the start of the fun

Next we have Lady Godiva
That’s a fiver to you and to me
Three fivers add up to a Commodore
Cos that’s three times a Lady you see?

A tenner is known as a Cockle
And that comes from Cockerel and Hen
A score is two tenners, or two Ayrton Sennas
By the way can you give us a lend?

A ten and three fives make a Pony
Or twenty-five quid to be plain
That’s just about right to go out Friday night
And on Saturday come home again

Five times a ton is a Monkey
Five hundred quid right on the button
Don’t ask me to lend it, I don’t recommend it
When asked for a loan I go Mutton

Two Monkeys add up to a grand
One thousand of our English pounds
A nice wodge of cash (known as Bangers and Mash)
Though not quite as grand as it sounds

But that isn’t all there is to it
There are many more rhymes to be learned
Though one thing that’s funny when it comes to money
It’s spent just as soon as it’s earned
ahahahahahahah fuckin brilliant mate!

Hmmm... Dollars we call "Bucks" or "Bills" I've heard $5, $10, & $20 called "Spots" ex 5 spot... 10 spot lol. $100 I've heard called "C notes" that's what the mint calls them lol
Pennies, dimes, nickels, quarters... All pretty standard... Can't think of more lol

Hey Rebel, Stoners
Welcome home Arty ?

Don't forget a "Sawbuck"= $10, Double Sawbuck, $20. Fin or Finsky. $5. Benny, Beaner, Benjamin, $100.

A lid was just another way the dealer would short you a few grams. I and most of my friends used the little metal pocket scales with the alligator clip. It was close enough. Since some states chose 20 grams as the felony threshold, you would have thought that would be the new normal. But with so much great smoke on the market, pricing and selling by the gram is more common round here..

aww naww. guys, the fear is back... i was on the bucky again last night and ive just started getting flashbacks of making up feeds and hunting for the scissors. theres leaves all over my landing and im too scared to climb up the attic to look. think ill smoke another banger and wait for my hangover to subside before i risk it. god i hate this feeling lol. read my ph meter wrong the other night steamin and switched to bloom nutes when im clearly still vegging. alcohol is dangerous. especially when you can still spell so nobody realises lol.

The UK has been metric since I was a kid but we still by pints of beer at the pub and the speed limits are all in Miles per hour.
Hash has alway been sold in imperial weights 1/16, 1/8,1/4,1/2 of an ounce, even though we get 1/4 key bars of hash we still call them 9 bars, which are getting on for but not quite a 1/4 Oz short of 9Oz.
America on the other hand is imperial but it seems metric like you say is becoming more common when buy herb.
Funny world is it not?
