Mephisto Genetics Duckster does Mephisto

You would be surprised at what you can do in a little pot. About a year ago there was a beer can grow off. I think they had to use soil and can had to be 16oz or less. Some very nice plants. I think @elsamurai won it with a 3' monster

No doubt man, but generally larger the root system, healthier, and happier the plant. Also a lot less feeding with larger pots :P

well the beer can grow wasnt 3 foot tall it did produce right at an oz.and my best tho has been in 3 gal airpots (yellow base). but that is a lot to put in 2.5x2.5. in my space 2x3, 2 3gals seem to do the best. just my 2cents

I think what I'm gonna do is find the best strain which produces single large colas (auto obviously), and experiment with tight spacing and see how it performs. In a perfect world I want to be averaging at least 1oz per plant. If tight spacing isn't something which will work, I'll bring it to about 1 plant per sqft, and see how it goes.

Day 68 for the Sour Hound so I figured that I would put up a few of my favorite kind of pictures. Looks like this girl is done lads. If you look at some of the old growth it looks like she is past done. A whole lot of amber. The newer growth is looking cloudy with a healthy amber mix. Hoping I can squeeze in a few more days of water only before I have to chop her.

Many thanks for the like bomb @redrobbo

On to the update and the pics I took yesterday.

Here is the DBC at day 19. She is looking healthy. She is spreading out with lots of branches forming. She is looking much better than the last one.

Here is the SC at 43 days. Vertical growth has all but stopped at 14". Buds at starting to stack up and putting on a bit of frost.

The SH at 70 days. My girls normally get a bit of nute burn on the tips of the leaves at the end of their life. Well on this girl I burnt the tips AND all along the saw tooth edges of some of the leaves. I used my normal nute dosing so I'm thinking maybe I will go a little lighter on the nutes on the next SH I do. The buds a nice and dense with healthy dose of sugar frosting. She is on a water only diet and will be coming down some time this week as soon as I have a few hours to spare.
