This is my second time growing auto flowers but it's my first time doing a journal on AFN.

Setup:

Grow Space: I'm growing in a 2x4x5 grow tent. I have 3 autos going but for this journal I am just going to focus on one of them.

Light: Bloomspect SL1000 (100w LED board)

Genetics: Alien Moonrocks (Alien OG x Blackberry Moonrocks) auto by Twisted Tree Autoflowers

Soil: GreenGro Pride Lands soil

Pots: 3 gallon fabric pot

Nutrients: Lotus Nutrients Grow, Bloom and Boost & Bloom City Organics Cal-Mag

Environment: I use an 18/6 light schedule. My tent stays between 72-75 degrees Fahrenheit while lights are on and drops to between 62-64 degrees Fahrenheit when lights are off. The humidity typically ranges from 50% to 60%. I realize it should be a little higher for the veg phase but I haven't yet purchased a humidifier. My tent is equipped with a 4 inch vivosun exhaust fan and three smaller clip on fans.

12/27/2021: I germinated the seed using the good ol' paper towel method.

12/30/2021: The taproot emerged and was planted directly into her final 3 gallon pot. I planted her taproot down about 1/4 inch deep and sprinkled some soil over the hole. I then put her underneath my 30w LED that I use for seedlings.

1/2/2022: After three days she finally sprouted.

Week 1 (1/2/2022-1/9/2022): She had a good first week above soil. I keep my 30w seedling light about 8 inches away to ensure she doesn't stretch too much. I gave her 4oz of water on day 7. Water was pH'd to 6.5. Her growth is probably a tad bit slower than it could be due to the temperature of the room I have her in. The temp stays between 68-70 degrees Fahrenheit. Once I move her into my tent she will get to experience some warmer temps. She measured 2 inches tall on day 7. Overall I was very pleased with her week 1 progress.

Week 2 (1/10/2022 - 1/16/2022): Week 2 went about as well as I could have hoped. I moved her into the tent underneath the Bloomspect SL1000 on day 8 and she seemed to handle the increase in light intensity just fine. I hung the light 22 inches above her and kept it all the way turned up to 100% power. She received a little more water this week than she did week 1. Still not very much though. Water was pH'd to 6.5. As of day 14 she measured 2.5 inches tall.

Week 3 (1/17/2022 - 1/23/2022): She really started to explode with growth in week 3! I topped her on day 19 and gave her her first very light feeding on day 20. Just a small dose of veg nutes (Lotus Grow at 1/8 strength according to their feed chart) and 1/4 tsp of cal-mag. PPM came out to 335. She took her first full gallon of water on day 20 as well, pH'd to 6.5 like always. As of day 21 she measured 4.5 inches tall.

Week 4 (1/24/2022 - 1/30/2022): Week 4 was another strong week. She handled the topping exceptionally well. It didn't seem to slow down growth at all. She received another light feeding this week (Lotus Grow at 1/8 strength) and a 1/2 tsp of cal-mag. PPM measured at 414. She has been receiving 1 gallon of water (pH'd to 6.5) a week and that seems to be sufficient for right now. As of day 28 she is 7.5 inches tall. I began tucking some leaves this week as well to expose as many future bud sites to the light as possible. So far these genetics have been really impressive.

Week 5 (1/31/2022 - 2/6/2022): This girl is bushy and as healthy as can be! I began doing some LST this week and she bounced right back within a day. I upped the Lotus Grow nutrients to 1/4 strength and continued giving her a 1/2 tsp of cal-mag per feeding. PPM is now up to 448 and so far I've seen no signs of burn or deficiencies so I feel like I have the nutes dialed in nicely. As of day 35 she is standing 10.5 inches tall. Towards the end of the week she started showing her very first pistils so I'm anticipating her starting to stretch any day now. I will continue tucking leaves and tying branches down in hopes of achieving as even a canopy as possible.
