Well..I was going to Ask..what is it Exactly that you are looking for...Colour I know.....but bud colour..leaf colour..pistil colour....?
The gene pool has it all..so what you after...?

Last photo is gloriously DC dom...See the horse shoe shape where the leaf fingers join the stem...?
Dead giveaway.

Over stuffed overhead...very typical....

Check male ball stems looking for red/pink stalks..:pass:

Yep I had it down at that,, In general all sets are very similar within them self's,
The middle k is cream of crop but the bottom one which I think is jem dom sings to me. The 3 B on left are nice with the bottom one by fav
IMG_20200316_144403.jpg

So top 4 are k and bottom 2 W that tray might just become an orgy
IMG_20200316_144411.jpg

3 W all similar
IMG_20200316_144416.jpg

And my tent fav the robber crab

IMG_20200316_144422.jpg

I thinking this is jem dom,, it's the only one with a sharper arrow head finger to the leaf,, it threw out some funky early leaves and showing n tox

Oh boy,, that's the problem allready,, I got a nice male from k and w and 4 girls I like,, knowing B heritage and that they haven't produced a male I going to have to seed a branch or two from one.
so whilst i want to find my own dragon i also want to look back to see if i can dig out a jem or black

Let's look at the males

IMG_20200316_131127.jpg

Two W very similar, both sexed fast, both resilient,, both typical to most others apart from the robber
IMG_20200316_131124.jpg
IMG_20200316_131058.jpg

The cream of K,, this looks a better match for the robber
IMG_20200316_131115.jpg
IMG_20200316_131105.jpg

Yes I haven't mentioned colour,,I been quite taken with the chunky leafed one, I will be doing a few selective pollinations with the two males and 4 girls I picked ,,i think lol:smoking:,,whats your thoughts:smoking:

hows yours doing and wasnt you doing another germ test..:coffee:

Sounds like a Plan... :pass:

Traits are a thing I Pin in my mind...and not 100%...BUT...
Some of the JEM...have leaf anomolies....I have it in me head it is an Afghan Thing...they will have leaf misshapes....
Also..some ball anomolies..they'll maybe have 1 set of balls that don't Drop on stalks...so you have 1 tight up bunch and the matching one...normal.

Miss matched balls..that is why I said check.

Usually...you wouldn't breed anomlies..but these are ones I have worked with for years...with no problem...every time I see it on someone elses grow it is almost always Afghan dom.
The nitrogen claw is JEM too.

You have a couple in the Widow selection that Look like the JEM Big White..... the ones where they have a quite fat head..but go down to spiders legs..very thin blades.
They will need to go to Trics..for a better guess..:pass:

And my tent fav the robber crab

That one is about the nearest to the first Black Dragon I ever saw....you have the horse shoe...and the leaf fingers are so fat they crowd it...and two Rabbits ears..very small end leaf fingers...stick up like two thumbs...
On mine...they stood upright...went through the leaf finger joints on the leaves above..and gave that an odd profile to the eye....

I Think yours are Trying to do that..:pass: ...

Sometimes the Rabbits ear blade are not equal...you'll have 1 and a part formed one...sometimes they are almost webbed...
If you try to increase the number of leaves....by selective breeding you do sometimes see distinct webbing on the bigger finger leaves too..Deep Chunk trait.

The ones with horse shoe middle and sticky up rabbit ears were my Favourites.

hows yours doing and wasnt you doing another germ test..:coffee:

I did..and our night temps tanked.......3 in the first 48 hours..plus a split one...
Then another split one..1 germed from there the other stopped.
So 50-50%..not the greatest...:pass:

Also..the germs I already had outside haven't really moved since the night temps tanked..so Probably stumpied..
But..we will see if the temps lift.
Hubby has accepted the need for some provisional cold frame protection..so we'll be looking at it...

well from my test it shows its not the seeds, i dont go out of my way when germing but they are in a reasonably well controlled environment

Got the feeling these are going to sex at this height and stumpy...but hey ho..in the hands of the weather gods.. :pass: ..you take your chances...

We allways in the hands of the gods,,the last mixed pot i remember seeing early ,the one eaten by the dog,,turned out great,,

I still need to cull a couple to make it manageable and for a few in flower to finish

Digging for Victory...:digit:..me raised beds...

IMG_0042.JPG

IMG_0043.JPG

1,000 ltr water butt cut in half....the chit in the butt is green algae that grows in the water...instinct says dried it should be nourishment..but we are scraping it out....:pass:

Garden is still fooked from the flood..but there is nothing we can do without the rotovator..so some kind of raised bed is the best we can do for the minute...:watering:
