whats the hold up with your grow and what you got in store for the lucky viewers?
I can't help but think of Jimmy Savel when I see that root 
Got a few mods that I am making to the cab, waiting on some stuff to come from the US, 2-3 wks, then I am ready to grow, it will be the latest DP test strain, some have already started, but you and Kush are pushing hard with the EC limits, do you think that it can be done the same with a two part feed? I think that the reason that I have always held back, even from the seedling stage, is that I was worried about stunting, never happened to me, but...for now just watching and learning, that is what I love about AFN!!!

im only running base nutrients and no additives hence the high ec's, ive also got high background tap water of .4 so im only on 1.6 ec , in my older grows i was using about 6 bottles and getting results BUT i wanted to see what the hype was with the nutrients and try and simplify my methods
im not to sure what kush is trying to achieve with his grow as he is using totaly different nutrients and his background ec is lower than mine
sometimes it pays to experiment with nutrients and find things that go together and other times it better to stick with what gets you results, he who dares wins
ive heard about the dp test strain it should be some real nice schmoke

I have heard some nice things too!!! So many great strains out there, and DP is really coming out with some potent ones, hopefully in my future grow I'll be able to experiment a little, maybe let two go to the end with one using the methodology that I have used in the past, and the other pushing the envelope a little or maybe alot, from what I hear she should be an eater!!! SB alway a pleasure to chat with you, and watch your grows in action.
Hey sb sorry to ask q's on your thread but I'm having a go at dwc and things not going to badly but my ph keeps dropping rapidly. Kush t said could be they might be needing to change to bloom feed but they're only on day 27 today so can't help thinking it's something else. The roots on one plant is almost size of a football already and now I'm worried I'm not gonna have inuff room in my res to get thru to the end. Any idea what's going on bruva?

yeah root balls can grow quite big in dwc and its not uncommon for them to fill the buckets just make sure you start out with 1 thats big enough
as far as ph dropping is concerned their could be a whole list but you dont have a diary so it cant check your progress and offer proper advice, their are a couple of things that will make the ph drop in dwc
1. if you are over feeding the plant the ec will rise and the ph will drop
2. the ph will drop when the plants is transfering form veg to bloom and its a sign she wants bloom feed, ususaly this will happen towards the end of her pre-flower stretch
3. root rot will make your ph drop
4. if your plant is out of ph range she will be locking out which could also cause ph drops
5. adding h2o2 can play havoc with ya ph

Thanks for your time and advice dude. I'm at day27 so don't think I should be starting bloom feed and my ec is @ 1.6 when I last changed the res, but the ec does rise a bit over next day or so but I'm not getting any nute burn at all. My roots look really healthy to me but I could defo be wrong so I'm thinking could be 4. The plant might be out of range and if that be the case what can I do chap? Thanks again man,
