Nothing of significance to report today.
Today is all about me running around trying to come up with a solution for heat stress on Campus.
The air-con has reduced the tent temps down to 27°C which is where I want it to be.
Humidity is between 40 RH% and 47 RH% - so no issues there.
I found by switching off the ventilation, the temps came down to the target range.
It was the recycling of the air-con exhaust which was keeping temps elevated.
The pleasant surprise is that the air-con and the dehumidifier are actually creating the negative pressure, that the ventilation fan was, which I feared would be lost. BONUS!
There's still an obvious hot spot directly under the HPS - but not much can be done about that.
That's just the nature of HPS.
With oscillating fans and the air movement from the air-con itself, all that can be done, is being done - now it's just a matter of patience, allowing the babies time to recover.
Resisted watering today.
Soil is still moist.
I want the roots to go searching.
So even though the temptation is to hydrate them if they're heat stressed, I fear that would be counter-productive, and I am loathed to add over-watering to a heat stress issue!
Oh - I did add the two substitute seeds into the tent; catalogued as MN1 and MN2.
The two late replacements are not Sweet Seeds, so I will feature them elsewhere, or maybe just not journal them.
Not sure.
