It was a good comparison because not only was the tent and environment the same, but I ran a couple of the same strains.
Specifically, there were Cream Caramel Auto ladies in both Grow 1 and Grow 2.
So a direct comparison can definitely be made.
And Cream Caramel Auto is a superb yardstick because its such a bulletproof, solid, dependable performer.

I also remember thinking near the end that Green Poison Auto would have LOVED some LST, and I'm absolutely convinced its yield would have been markedly better had she been opened out. There was a LOT of underdeveloped popcorn sites under the abundant canopy. It's lush, a great producer of bud and stickiness, and I only wish I had provided the conditions for those lower bud sites to have half a chance of hitting their potential. That was my bad. However, it did answer the "LST vs No LST" question, so at least there was a lesson to be had in the sub-standard growing performance.

COMMENTS:

The students have really taken to their BDSM lessons.
It's hard to see that any has been done - their recovery has been that explosive.

However, we had a mishap in the dungeon today.
One of the Mohan Ram Auto girls forgot her safety word, and the session got a little messy.
End result, I broke her.
Her main stem snapped, which could result in her major growth sites being lost.
I'm hoping the splint will take - but I'm not hopeful.
I'm a bit pissed at myself.
Her growth was phenomenal and lush.
She could have been amazing.
Maybe she still will - but I genuinely doubt it.

Shit happens.
If heavy LST is being done on 16 plants, you're going to have an accident every now and then.
That's just the nature of bondage.

We'll give her a chance to mend, but if she doesn't, I'll work with whatever is left and see what we can salvage.

Other than that, all is well.
The tent is stable and pretty much in the sweet spot.
The girls are enjoying their feedings.

I'm going to leave them alone for 24 hours - maybe 48 if they don't ask for a drink, just to let them stabilise and release any pent up stress from the transplanting and the LST.

Finally I get a 'rest day'.

Campus cafeteria is closed today.
After the students gorged themselves yesterday, today is fasting day.
No feeding.

No LST.
No transplanting.

Only activity today is their daily modelling session in front of the cameras.

All looks good.
Happy students.
Full attendance.
No protests.
Dorms are clean and tidy.

A full campus of eager students.

Even the Mohan Ram Auto rebel who tried to decapitate herself in yesterdays BDSM session looks to be ok.
Not counting my sticky trichome covered chickens just yet, but if she was going to reject the surgery, she'd be showing signs of limpness and apathy already, which doesn't appear to be the case.

Your plants are really good, great work as usual!
I advice to use more water, saturating the soil. The roots turn a bit lazy if you only irrigate the central part of the pot.

The watering, I've been concentrating on the natural 'drip line'.
By that, I mean where the water would be placed by the canopy, if it rained.

I'll definitely put your advice in play next watering!
