A few surprises and disappointments today.
The two plants today gave up pretty much what I thought they would.
Dry, they should total around 140 grams, so in the region of 5oz.
It's below the target, but they were the smallest.
Or so I thought ...
Had my first real chance to give a full body inspection of the Cream Caramel Auto.
I'm gutted.
Her yield is going to be very disappointing.
I'd be surprised if I get much more than 1oz from her, maybe 2oz ... maybe - if I'm very, very lucky.
It's not the strain. It's the way I grew her.
There are enough bud sites, but without the LST of Grow #1, the plant simply hasn't been given the opportunity to reach her potential.
The lower buds are fluffy and small and ... well, to be honest ... a waste of space.
She is from a lush strain, so there is always the risk of the light just not getting through the thick foliage.
Had she been opened up, I know from last time, that she would have given up a lot more.
My error. Lesson learned.
I'll harvest the main cola and keep the rest in the tent - and that really is all I can salvage a this stage.
The main cola - and maybe some of the higher up side buds.
I'm confident the remaining plants will contribute.
The other Sweet Trainwrecks are heavier than the one harvested today.
Likewise with the other Green Poisons.
The Cream Mandarine - both the standard and the XL - should also pull their weight.
I need one or two of them to really deliver, to make up for today's revelations.
