@Yozhik just fantastic bro dont beat yourself up you have done a awesome job just to get 16 to harvest with no problems or defiecencys.
and wile is right less plants but bigger strains
3x auto ultimate
3x think big
3x think different
that would keep you busy bro after seeing how big those monsters can get.whatever you choose bro i will be along for the ride

Yes.
That would keep me busy.

Hmmm - lots to think about.
I'm still leaning towards;
  • Think Different
  • Hubba Bubba Smelloscope
  • Blow Mind / Jack 47 / Mohan Ram
No hurry - can decide further down the road.

have you thought of running fewer plants but bigger strains (think big,auto-ultimate,fast and vast) I'm sure theres more but these are all high yielders but saying that even with less plants you could still get the same amount of bud which means long chopping times ye your snookered mate always long chop times with that much grow space:smoking:(oh what a problem to have) :pass:

I've always had a hankering for a perpetual grow.
This pretty much confirms its what I have to do.

If I stuck with 8-9 week strains [for example] ... I could be planting / harvesting 4 plants every 2 weeks in rotation.
12 week strains would mean 4 plants every 3 weeks.

That sound so feckin appealing right now ...
Much better than 16 plants on a single timeline.

Work smarter, not harder.

Oh man up!! Remember the lunatic with the 100+ think big, or was it think different..anyway they set the bar high!!! With your OCD you could handle all of them just fine. You might not enjoy it until your final weights are in:biggrin:

Oh I can't claim to be blessed with OCD ... but I do suspect some OCD- like tendencies, in SOME aspects of my endeavours.

But I do confess to the 'control' issues being very much part of the INTP personality type. :pighug:

What was the lesson learned from Day 65?

Sweet Trainwreck Auto ROCKS!!

This strain has become my new favourite.
I love its open structure, its colours, its size, its amazing compact buds ... but most of all I LOVE IT because it is so easy to trim.
Seriously.

for me, that's a HUGE factor we seldom talk about or mention.
Sure, we all love growing healthy plants, and looking at bud porn, or drooling over a smoke report ... but when have we ever mentioned the strain in terms of ease of harvest? I think if I knew that upfront, it might sway me towards some strains, and away from others.

So I'm starting a trend.

Sweet Trainwreck Auto is the easiest to harvest, amongst the strains I have tried.
Trimming is so much easier than something like Green Poison Auto or Cream Mandarine Auto.
It's my new favourite strain, because of this.
Not as easy as Barney's blue cheese that girl had very few leafs very high bud to leaf ratio

well this morning has been pretty fucked up.
now its late afternoon and not a chance to trim a single bud.

looks like an overnighter ...

What is he final weight prediction on The Beast? I've been waiting on her!!

Very good information on harvesting times. That will become a determining factor on the strains I choose in the future. If I ever get my northern lights to the finish line she is going to be a nightmare to trim. Something I never considered when choosing that strain. Of course, I'll only have one or two plants and not 16 like you. But that won't deter my whining any.

To be fair, a couple of these would have been OK going longer, but the biggest issue I have is only having one tent.
In a perfect world, I'd have a separate drying tent, with its own dehumidifier and extraction fan.
I don't.

So, I need to harvest everything at the same time, as quickly as possible, and then turn the growing Campus into a drying room, as quickly and efficiently as possible.

But yes - I agree - in future grows, ease of trim might become a factor when deciding on which strains to grow.
Having said that, if I move to the perpetual grow I've been threatening to do, it won't be an issue, because 4 plants at a time doesn't phase me, even if they're absolute nightmares to trim ... not after 16 anyway!!

Ah, yes ... living the dream ... a perpetual grow with a fully equipped, separate drying tent.
Where's that winning lottery ticket when you need it?
