COMMENTS;

This grow is kicking my ass!

Normally I like to run the humidity around 60%RH for vegging.
That's what we're told to do, right?
Run it a little higher during veg, and then lower it as we move towards flip and then lower still for flower?

If I edge towards 60% RH, these girls sulk.
Big time.
They hang their heads, and sulk.

They are alert, and enthusiastic about their prayers, at around 47-52% RH.
Moody as fuck.

... and don't even get me started about over watering.

Here was me thinking coco was "like hydro, but not", and that daily watering was pretty much mandatory.
Well, it seems someone forgot to tell these plants that.

Get the humidity close to 60% RH ... AND give these girls too much water?
Fuck me.
Watch the sulkfest unfold.
Droopier than a droopy think in Mayor Droopinski's droop files in Droopsville.

I thought I'd killed them.
Walked downstairs to the saddest, limpest, most depressing garden sight I'd ever seen.

Dead?
Like fuck they were.
Little bitches.
They were just playing with me.
Revelling in my panic; laughing at my self-doubt.
I could hear them, mocking me.

A few hours later, with the humidifier off, and with the temperatures rising with the drier air, they decided to throw a bone in my direction, lift their heads, and show me signs of life.
I hated them at that moment.
A hatred like I had never felt for a plant before, and a hatred I never want to feel again.

Oh ... And temps ... Let's talk about temps!
24°C ... Minimum ... Or they're back into sulk territory.
Right now, they are LOVING IT at close to 29°C and 47%RH.
29°C and 47%RH.
What the fuck is that about?
That's not normal.
That's not what I'm used to dialling in.
The books don't prepare ya for this kind of sulky, fake-death, toying and mocking bullshit.
This is not what I signed on for; constant ridicule and derisive sneers, from a freakn' plant.

[SIGH]

Thing is ...

They know they'll get whatever they demand.
'Cos that's the type of wimpy arsed, pussy whipped, limp dicked, grow room eunuch I am.

DAY 44

The girls have really taken to the [HASHTAG]#autopots[/HASHTAG].
Reservoir replenished with feeding of EC 1,9, pH 6,0 and water temp 17C.
Currently chewing through about 30+ litres a day between them.

Their health and colour is slowly coming back to where it should be.
They also seem to have started dropping the Drama Queen attitude.
Temps around 25C and humidity up around 60%RH, which is where I want them.
I've also been allowed to turn the fans on to get some air movement, without having a sulk en masse.

Oh - and they've been topped, which also seems to have gone down with little or no stress or fuss.

Happy days!
