Yoda's Lowryder to Photo Projects

The multi pot is starting to get filled... Defninitely seeing ones that are performing more to my liking than others.... I moved them from under the led to the t5 to let them want to stretch a little.... This experiment is most certainly teaching me the importance of mass selection needed to breed... It's ok I think if you have one or two beans and you need to self them or what have you to give you a greater number of beans to search with later that's fine... But to breed and just use one seed one pheno and that's it is a very bad idea.... Just way to many difference amongst a group of plants to limit yourself.
Hence, with the Northern lights I had only those two beans... So I selfed one for now so I can start hunting for that keeper to cross to a Williams wonder (not anytime soon rofl) but now I have the opportunity to have all the time in the world to grow these out and learn the strain... Or any other one you want to work with....
I may be a closet breeder and don't have a farm, but I am honest upfront in my practices and have a love and desire to share dankness with all. I will work diligently and hard in my hobby and will let the end products how ever long they will take speak for themselves... You got to ask your self with the ease of pollen chucking etc... Who knows how half these breeders operate... A seed co selling for profit could just be the guy next door also operating in the sAme manner but no one knows really... So yea this is just all the beginning but I want the help of all the great minds here at AFN to help me along my journey and to participate... Please feel free guys to pipe in and give a brother a hand with this multi pot... Lol, going to pop a bunch more this weekend... And sorry for the rambles you can blame the white urkle x lowryder I've been puffing on all morning

Just wanted to share three different purple chem x lowryders that were hit with the pcxlr reversed pollen ... Will try to pollinate 3/4 more and than select from these batch of beans the most potent mamas... Looking into get a sirchie test kit just looking for a license I can "borrow" for the justtlc program...

Indeed, you don’t need hectares of land to make mass selection - multi pots are great tool. Cheers for that :Sharing One:

Well here we are 6days later, and to my surprise the first and so far that I could tell from a quick look tonight the only one that is showing some sex at the moment is surprisingly looks to be a female! Would've thought for sure I would've seen sacs first... Hopefully this upcoming week the autos of the lot will start to reveal themselves. They have been on a 24/0 schedule from day one to find the true auto'ing ones...
Am getting very curious to see what happens to these in the next couple of weeks.

Exciting times here! Starting to see some guys throwing sacs and some ladies popping pistils! Without popping this many at once it would have taken me a very long time to find these guys and gals... Though I am also rethinking the next multipot of these and may run them on 12/12 from the get go and not concern my self with the ones that auto or not as the auto gene being like a herpe it will eventually show it self.:. So I figure get a group of beans of ones that auto and pick the most potent mama... Than second large multipot batch select the most potent... From those two group of beans I will use those to go to f2... Which at that point should be very close to full autos... Maybe some mass testing in the end of summer beginning of fall?
I will ask any of my close friends helping me with these projects to keep the grows all in this thread so to keep everything documented in one spot...

Yodabuds, how is that white urckle x LR smoke? how about a mini review? just curious, what are your opinions on The White vs. Ghost OG(Triangle kush) both are Florida strains. I'm a Florida native so I'm quite proud of these two strains.

Hi Cannabliss , I've never had just the white (i do have a few to pop) not the ghost train.
I can tell you the WUxLR was a fantastic yielder , quick finished 6to7 weeks and was some of the tastiest smoke... Floral/hash taste/smell... Very mind melting high... Keeps you alert enough for a little while with thoughts of nothing (empty head ;) ) and than it's off to sleep ;) very very pleased with her ..... Will see what happens with further work of this strain .....

Just wanted to do a very quick update on one of the purple chem x lowryders... From the three observable phenos I've seen thus far, this one has that kush structure and rock hard dense buds and she's only been in flower for about a month .... Another week or so and she'll get the chop .... Looking forward to seeing what her f2's bring to the table ....

Just another update on the multipot here... Need HELP! At this point they are a month old, I see two definite males and two females.... Should I cull the rest to let the "fittest" finish off with some room or keep on waiting another week or two? What to do?
