its the mesh that slows the growth if you snip the bottom of the net off there ok or take the net off and use the peat without the net thats fine as well

I always heard bad things about jiffy pellets so I have never tried them.... Flora plugs are made from coconut or something like that. They are very spongy. You can also use them in Hydro or Soil.

It's sort of hard to tell with the lights but here are a few in Floraplugs at germ.

I see.. there must be something in the composition of those plugs that boosts growth! I wish I had heard of them before.. So amazon is the place to get them?

I'm wondering also if I should make an investment in a grow closet and an HPS kit.. it would be around 150 euros for me (and that's the cheapest set).. it's a lot of money, what are the pros against the patch set I'm using right now?

hps is the best you can get shame you did not have a spare wardrobe as that tent at 40cmx40cm seems tiny for the price you checked ebay?

I think a tent is totally worth it for an indoor grow.... However don't cheep out when buying one. Many of the cheep Chinese ebay ones don't use mylar and instead use some kind of toxic plastic that gives off gas and harms your plants. I have a 4X4 Lighthouse tent (from the makers of the blackstar LED). They have other sizes. Not cheep but not expensive... The main reasons I chose this one is it has a metal frame, it has pouches on the sides to hold meters, clippers, cords, etc, and it has a fitted tarp to go over the floor that has a 4 inch lip. That way if there are any spills or leaks the tent will contain them and they wont ruin the carpet in the room.

I see, I'll keep that in mind for future grows.. for now, I'll try to accomplish these grows and see what I can get from them..

I have bad news, one of the baby sprouts is dead.. I don't know why.. she looked fine to me, but today when I got up she was dry.. I pulled her out and her roots we're roten.. SO I'm down to one sort-rider and one Fast Bud.. I can't find a reason for that to had happen.. could've been the soil, but the other plant is doing just fine.. so I don't get it..

Thanks ChinaRider and agito, you've been helping me out a lot! :)

you can get rot off it happens

19th day

Hi there folks,

Here it is, photo of my short rider's 19th day. She´s looking good, I think.
Watered today over 1 litre of water with 1 ml of BioGrow. Let's see how she responds.

Fast Bud 5th day

Here are some photos of my Fast Bud, at her 5th day.

Her sprout leaves (the first ones to show) are getting a little burnt, u can see the yellow on its edges. I did not over watered her nor fed her with nutes.. Is she getting to much heat from the sun? should I avoid exposing her directly to the sun, or will she be o'right?
