Yellow dots/spots on leaves.

Hey Gin',... still being touchy is she? OK, from past users of Root organics soil, i recall some adding in extra lime because of defc. and pH issues later in the grow,.. With the KS, it seems less likely, but no doubt in my mind, small spotting that hugs along veins is Ca defc.,... I'm not exactly sure of the ite between Ca and P, other than Ca is key in uptake/transport of most all the nute ions,... with the needed P going in, and no other symptoms, not overdosed,... hmmm...

What's you light sched, not 24/0 i hope,... distance is boderline with that badass HLG unit; notice how the worst symptoms are up higher than usual even for Ca defc,...
....in-pot soil pH is always a factor, have you checked that yet? Did I recommend that Accurate 8 soil pH probe before -
... water is tap, do you know it's hardness/ppm? the filter Pur, is that the kind that is supposed to pull CaCO3 out too, softening the water? If so, I'm not sure exactly how they work, maybe ion exchange beads and if so, I wonder what ions ar getting swapped,... In typical salt exchange softeners, it's KCl or NaCl, kicking K+/Na+ into the water while binding up the CaCO3,... (that is poolr soluble in water at grow pH's, Ca may be there, but not available)....

This is right from Kinds website:

Adding ANYTHING other than water: This happens a lot, growers get impatient and that feel they can "BOOST" the grow or simply don't trust the system. Our system works exactly as we state Adding anything to your water or grow pots can slow and hinder your growth. It can cause low production rates, slow growth, PH swings or even just cause the plant to lock out and die from overfeeding. Our system is designed to be a water only system from veg to harvest, DO NOT ADD ANYTHING other than carbon filtered water to your grow. Patience is key, your plant will grow vigorously and produce proper flowers as long as you allow the soil to work for you.

This is the second Kind Soil grow in the infirmary today with mysterious symptoms. Both parties are adding nutrients when they are expressly told not to do so.

Once again I do not know what the best approach is to save these plants @Waira here we are again. What should be done here?
MoG, my KS run and others, many had P defc. issues later in the grow,... it was a mad scramble to fix this before all I got was leafy bud, and it still compromised the bud:leaf ratio :cuss:.... There was talk about running another KS test here, but that clearly died on the vine..... No loss IMO!

It has been a long time since I studied methods of making organic garden beds, if I remember right the only stratification layer was for high carbon solids like big wood branches and they were supposed to be more than two feet deep and take five or more years to break down other then that everything for the next 20 or so inches was to be homogeneous with the top 4 inches of fine compost. The KS method seems to fly in the face of that method?

Hey @Waira! Still finicky, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’m on 20/4 light schedule. I actually have some of the colas still swelling and getting a taller so it might be wise to raise the light up an inch or two.

Tap water here is 121ppm total hardness according to public water quality report. I don’t think the Pur filter removes calcium.

I actually ordered a soil probe, but it won’t be here until next week. It’s not Accurate 8, but is identical looking and same price on Amazon. I believe you mentioned these were the same.

Nice plant..
Now Seeing the plant is in bud. Would change my thoughts on what I see.
The plant to me is showing more end of life deficiencies. More normal to see. And hard keep in check even for experienced chemical growers.

I'm an organic grower sticking my finger in the soil knuckle deep or fist deep whichever it may be.
Will tell me a lot about my soil.
If too wet at 2 Knuckles down is very good indication that the root ball is too wet.

Just saying any would-be grower should know the basic rules of gardening.
Not everybody has to be high tech
To know what to look for in gardening.
I've been doing just fine for many many years with just using my fingers and my toes. The Hill Billy way.... :pighug: :headbang: :biker: :shooty:View attachment 1193476View attachment 1193477View attachment 1193479View attachment 1193482

I'm not adding anything to the topic, and my apologies to OP, but I would pay to live in your garden. That looks heavenly.

water is good! that's off the table for concerns at least,... keep on the PK boosting, and we'll see if progression halts here soon,...
