Problem: I’ve noticed these yellow dots spreading around the plant over the past several days. Some have a bit of a brown/rust color, while others are more yellow.
-Medium/grow method: soil; Kind Soil layered under Roots Organic Original
-Feed and supplements used: Currently feeding 1/4 - 1/2 dose General Organics BioThrive Bloom. Also getting weekly Recharge and Mammoth P.
-Water source: Pur filtered tap water. Ph’d with either citric acid or potassium carbonate
-Strain and age: RocBudInc Purple Scoops Day 61 from sprout
-Climate: 75-80F, 45-55RH
- Light used: HLG 100 3000k 18” from canopy
-Additional info: Has come on pretty quick and affecting several leaves on different parts of the plant. I have looked on several leaves with a magnifying glass, top and bottom and have not seen any sign of pests.

Edit: I should also add that I have recently had some nutrient deficiency issues, which is why I am supplementing the BioThrive. It made me wonder if this kind of looked like calcium deficiency. But googling similar pics also has me worries about bugs.

so have you looked underneath the leaves to see if there's any bugs? If you don't see any bugs. It looks to me like she's wet too much everything. So if you don't see any bugs let it dry out and if it gets critical in the next few hours to a day I suggest taking your finger sticking it down into the soil and break the soil up a little bit and letting the air get down in at the surface an inch down or you're going to lose her or having major setback anyways.

Whoah, wait a sec? You think it could be drowning? I’m in a small 5L fabric pot and laterly been watering 750ml every 36-48 hours based one when dry to a knuckle or two.

I have looked under several leaves and no sign of bugs so far, but I did notice a couple similar leaves on another plant in the tent.

Here she is this morning day 62:

Knuckle deep does not tell you how moist the root ball is and gives misleading info. Get a moisture meter and check the rootball for accurate moisture content.

I have a decent soil ph/moisture probe on order, but won’t be here until next week. My pots are feeling light also before I water. But honestly this is my first grow so I could have a poor frame of reference.

I’m just surprised as I hadn’t noticed any of the more telltale signs of overwatering- drooping, etc...

Nice plant..
Now Seeing the plant is in bud. Would change my thoughts on what I see.
The plant to me is showing more end of life deficiencies. More normal to see. And hard keep in check even for experienced chemical growers.

I'm an organic grower sticking my finger in the soil knuckle deep or fist deep whichever it may be.
Will tell me a lot about my soil.
If too wet at 2 Knuckles down is very good indication that the root ball is too wet.

Just saying any would-be grower should know the basic rules of gardening.
Not everybody has to be high tech
To know what to look for in gardening.
I've been doing just fine for many many years with just using my fingers and my toes. The Hill Billy way.... :pighug: :headbang: :biker: :shooty:

Right on. Thanks man. Awesome garden you have there!!

This is right from Kinds website:

Adding ANYTHING other than water: This happens a lot, growers get impatient and that feel they can "BOOST" the grow or simply don't trust the system. Our system works exactly as we state Adding anything to your water or grow pots can slow and hinder your growth. It can cause low production rates, slow growth, PH swings or even just cause the plant to lock out and die from overfeeding. Our system is designed to be a water only system from veg to harvest, DO NOT ADD ANYTHING other than carbon filtered water to your grow. Patience is key, your plant will grow vigorously and produce proper flowers as long as you allow the soil to work for you.

This is the second Kind Soil grow in the infirmary today with mysterious symptoms. Both parties are adding nutrients when they are expressly told not to do so.

Once again I do not know what the best approach is to save these plants @Waira here we are again. What should be done here?

So I didn’t begin adding Bloom nutes until I started having massive deficiency issues with my Kind Soil grow around day 45. It was actually the suggestion of @Waira to begin some PK supplementation. Which was successful in halting the original deficiency issue. But now, I’ve got this bastard approach going.

I realize none of this is ideal. I’m just trying to get her across the finish line and plan to retool my approach next time (probably using occasional dry nutrients and top dressing ala BuildASoil rather than shooting for strictly water only.)
