Seed Stockers Yeatster BlackBerry Gum & AK 420

Okay, I got a question. Anybody have experience with super low RH? I've been running at a constant 16%. Lowest I've grown with. My grow room is an uninsulated addition to the house (the sun room). I've been running the crappy baseboard heat with an additional tiny, heat blaster, my buddy gave me when the temps went down to 20's.

My question...with such low RH have you seen tops actually curl inward? I see the serrated leaf edges curl to "cup water begging for rain". Tops curling is new to me. I assume it's the same principle...pull inward to funnel water to the roots when rain comes.
@Dudeski If you don't know, you know someone who does. If not, I quit.

Hey bud...I deal with ultra low RH(20-30%) throughout all mid winter grows...oddly enough I have not seen very many problems at all that associate with low RH. Maybe @Waira can help you out ?

Thanks man. Once the tent gets full there's usually enough transpiring to get me to 20-30% RH and all seems fine. 16% I think I see a detrimental effect.

yeah man.....16% is ripping low!! We are having some really dry winter weather right now due to sheer cold outdoors...right now its -42C outside

I have the same problem with low, winter time RH. I take a bowl of warm water, set it in the bottom of the tent, next to my circulation fan and that brings up my humidity 10-12%.
