Dutch Passion Year of the Passion Dutch Passion outdoor

I've grown 12 PolarLights #3 outdoors this summer. Great strain! Gets pretty large too for an auto, my biggest plant was as tall as me (185cm). Grew them in soil in 16 liter airpots, at least I think it's 16 liter, the one's with the green bottom. Some sites have them as 15 liters, some say 16. Anyway, they were big enough for the PolarLights.

Only downside is that they took a long time to finish, but I knew that from the beginning as she has a lot of Sativa genes. No mold whatsoever on these and good yield, about 65 gram on average - summer was also average, I think it could have been more with better weather. Very easy to maintain too. Will plant these again next year, only double the amount this time.

I tried to make this years full sun garden 100% dutch passion but the place I buy seeds from was sold out of passion #1 so I put out in a G-13 instead.

Here is this years crew as of today up in the 44th. Here is the Dutch Passion Frisian Dew...by far the smallest plant of the year she is just over 20feet around the outer perimeter and 4 feet high. She is well into flower now, and is filling out nicely. Getting a nice sweet floral smell.

Next up is the Dutch Passion Holland's hope...this plant will be last on the list to be finished...there's a good chance we'll be testing the mold resisting qualities due to the late pre-flower. She is a huge plant being 7 feet high and 24' around the outer perimeter. I've had many giant leafy plants before that have nothing below the canopy so this time I have tested defoliating the fans.(just over half done at time of pic)

And the mighty Dutch Passion blueberry...tremendous in size for the third year in a row, she is over 30' around and 7 feet tall on some branches, 6' on most branches(6' tall branches on my plants are more like 8-9 feet tall due to heavy early horizontal training). Biggest plant I have ever grown. Solid pre-flower around the same stage as the G-13....looking good!

Nice! I cant wait to try DP's newest auto strains outdoors. Can wait to see what Auto Daiquiri Lime and Colorado Cookies can do outside next summer.

@hecno - stop by anytime and smoke one man. ;) So next year...I was going to do a Spain vs Holland as my grow, but I have changed my mind and decided to do "Year of the Passion Season 2".

In the full sun garden we'll have:
Blueberry
Frisian Dew
Delicious Seeds Fruity Chronic Juice
??? Gearing toward the new Think Different 12/12 or Orange Hill Special..hmm or Passion #1

Full Sun autos:
Auto Ultimate
Auto Xtreme
Auto Daiquiri Lime
Auto ??? (can't decide between Colorado Cookies, Brooklyn Sunrise, Auto Euphoria...help!!)

Based on the growth so far in the cabinet using my new led's, I am thinking next years outdoor girls are going to be awesome!!

Well there was a snow scare yesterday, but it turned out pretty nice though it was quite cold. The BB is finished trimmed and the G-13 is in. The G looks absolutely beautiful this year. She took on a very nice purple tinge throughout the rock hard buds.

Buds are definitely spectacular on the G this year...here's 2 of about 30 buds that are similar size:

wow, now they are some nugs

2 long, long days into trimming the BB. Got the 4X8 rack filled, and I am les than half way done trimming. Unless the BB shrinks down to nothing on the dry, this is going to be one hell of a haul off the BB!!(especially when considering one rack of the Frisian was 3lbs 3z)
Grand days!! Woot!
Wow-ee IF I ever grow up, I want'a be just like You Guys! Very inspiring!
I'm at 49' on West Coast (60 miles south of BC) elev. 1800'. This will be my 3rd outdoor soil grow (Photo). Last year I did Frisian Dew and A.M.S. They did great but when the cool weather hit on Sept. 10, 2015 growth halted and my beautiful Frisian Dew purple flowers suffered mold. I am going to grow more FD this year but I've been researching a more acclimated strain and decided on Texada Timewarp (BC bud Depot) and Timewarp (next generation seeds). Can you tell me what your experience is with these strains and any major differences I should be aware of compared to A.M.S. and Frisian Dew?

Hey bud...my apologies for not seeing and responding to your post earlier. At your latitude and western location, you should be able to make my girls look like wee babies, though the humidity will be worse in your location! I have not ran AMS, but the Frisian is an excellent strain from what I have seen so far in the green phenol.
So texada timewarp. Totally familiar with the TT. Honestly I wont bullshit you though, I would avoid BCbuddepot. I grew out their BCGodbud, and it was quite lacking. Decent buds and potent, but terrible taste and smells like hay. I also grew out a single Jack Herer of theirs, and cut it down on sept the 1st with zero preflower on it. 7 feet tall and 24feet around of leaf...pissed me off something fierce!!
So genes...texada timewarp crosses available at PeakSeedsBC have been great to me. I grew out a whole pack of their Texada Skunk(TTXSkuk#1). Consistent finish times. Very, very potent and great colder weather growers. Almost all of the phenols took after the skunk half in taste and smell, but every one was very potent and great growers. Peakseeds prices are pretty awesome too.
But my opinion? Honestly bust out a pack of Dutch Passion Blueberry and try one of them. Oct 1st harvest, cold resistant, fairly mold resistant and one hell of a growing plant.

damn... you sir are one serious grower! i'm amazed and so happy you grew DP, they've been at the top of my list forever.
great to see a master taking them to their true potential...
Peace.

Thanks...honestly, I am just a guy that tries to get enough medication to help ease my pains, and am blessed with an environment that grows monster plants in native soil. Very, very happy with Dutch Passions genetics. Very impressive...cant wait to get into this years line up!! Yahoo!
