Indoor WWWillie goes Fast and Vast +1

10/28
Day 0

OK the three F&V are in the dirt! They had all unwound and the first one was actually sticking up above the top of the rooter! I used 3 gal. equiv. air pots. I filled them with FFHF and perlite 2:1, I pressed a 4" square pot into the center to form an impression which I filled with light warrior and into that I made an impression the size of a rooter cube. I popped the cubes into that sprayed with water and put an inverted glass over them as a humid dome. They are in the small cab now. So I should call this day 0. (computer guys start with 0!).
Hey DSC happy to have you along my friend!! Hope it goes well!!

This is part of my continuing effort to get a method of easily starting a seed, especially for autos. I did a great job last time with 100% germ and seedling rate but it required a transplant and that may have stunted my autos, the photos did not care! This time I went from the rooter cube right into the dirt, careful to get them in the dirt before any sign of taproot. Hopefully this will succeed! We'll see.

Day 1
Temp 77 RH 61

OK! I see cotyledons on all three. They are in rapid rooters, in FF light warrior, in FFHF and perlite, in airpot! Wee, I am excited for this one.
The carbon filter and fan should be here today or tomorrow for the cab they are in. I still need to get the rest of the CFLs mounted and to move the two HPS ballasts out of there so I have enough room.
Boy this stuff is FUN!!!

Day 2
Temp 77 RH 56

Yo! Eek! Great to have you along!

They are progressing well. One is popping right up almost an inch, need to get some light on her quick! I hastily stapled a cord and socket with two CFLs above the pot to hold her for the time being. Did not do any work in the garden last night so of course stuff has to get done.
I am liking this method of germing/planting. I know that perhaps the easiest thing is to put them right in the soil, but I don't do the waiting thing well, I am never sure how much to water, etc, etc, etc. At least this way I feel in control and can see the progress. My success rate is good so far as well. I'll keep working on it, time will tell.

Day 4

Looking good. Way to much stretch, going to mound some soil and get the lights fixed up right. Off for a day or so, so I need to be sure they have enough water and stuff like that. I'll take some pictures when I return.

11/03
Day 6

Hey Sawmpman good to see you thanks for dropping by!
All three are up one liiks great the other two seem a bit stalled. I think it's lighting. I added a blackstar clone LED about 18-20 inches over them. If it is light this should do. Hope to have the energy for pictures tonight.

Bit late to the show, but pulling up a chair :)
Wanted to say thank you, your clone thread inspired me, I made my bubble clone box at the weekend :)

Can't let this train fly by! Subbed up!
:goodluck:

Day 7
They have their second set of leaves. On does not look like it will make it though, only small cotyledons showing. We'll see. The humid domes are off ad they are under a 240 watt blackstar clone.

Hey GMan Thanks! I am glad that I could help!
