Thanks! I'm liking what I'm seeing! She is currently raging her little green ass off. She's the one in your grow, you know is gonna shine.
Her current vigor is very striking! Already the two top have split after the topping earlier this week. Simple training with the adjustable trainers has exposed a few future bud sites.
Root Beer Float has great structure and very symmetrical............huge plus in my book!
Sweet CBD has a great open structure and all I've done is leaf tucking. While her general structure is great, her bud branching is not good in my book! She's alternating sending out a budding branch at every other node. Instead of two budding branches at each node, there's just one. Some is one branch and nothing on the other side and others where the second branch is extremely rudimentary. Maybe if I had topped her, the hormones would have lessened this.
Is that mainly a sativa trait that can occur? She does look like she could have a sativa structure at this point.

Last night, I gave all girls foliar aminos @ 1/4tsp/1000ml with my normal humic acid water. All girls seemed to love it!.

Gonna flip a coin on the Twenty20 girls and drop beans in water later today.

I'll finally get to my normal Sunday update with pics and more. Despite a rough start, even my poor little Meph girl is kicking it into gear. VitaMints has made a huge improvement this past week, she may be the surprise of the grow.

She's doing better, but being hit the hardest by the gnat larva, she's just plain stunted. Unless she has a BIG stretch, she's just not gonna produce. I'm gonna try some things to help stimulate root growth and health. We'll see

I recommend starting out with a Jr and smaller sized girls.
Jrs are easier to get the girl 'on the rez" and get the 'magic' of the Earthbox started. It's easier because of the two wicking areas are to each side of the centerline of the box. This will get that relationship with the plant taking a large percentage of the water it needs from that wicking area with relative little nutrients in the water. This allows the girl to take up the nutrients with feeder roots.
In other words, VPD will have less of an impact on FORCING the plant to take up nutes WITH the water it needs to do its work. In a regular pot, you can raise the nute take up by raising the VPD(Vapor Pressure Deficit) or in common terms, transpiration.
The biggest thing in running EBs is to keep nutes out of the rez water as possible, once that relationship with the roots and wicking areas is established.

I've got an idea for the makers of EarthBoxes. It will be the Canna Edition of the regular size EarthBox. If they don't make it, I will. It's very simple change to the media separator with adding a wicking area in the center like in the Junior. Honestly, I doubt if they will make it with their average buyer not growing cannabis and the perceived negative connotation.
