My Inventory: 1 6x6 mylar tent, 3 1000 L HPS air cooled hoods, 1 8" air fan and carbon filter, 2 6" intake can fans, 1 portable 8000 btu a/c, 1 dehumidifier.

1.)My plan is to start with 1 of my 1000 hps lamps in a 6x6 tent. Is that enogh for Autos to grow or do I need 2 lamps in tent?

2.)I am running the a/c through a 6" intake line with a 6" fan. I plan to hang it near the opening of my lamps duct intake so it blows in to lamp and tent. I also have several fans hanging in tent and dehumidifier.

3.)I am starting with Auto's. I have 10 white cheese(dina fem),5 auto cheese fem,1 Kandy kush fem, 1 blue dream haze fem,1 critical jack herer, 1 pinapple express. Who has tried any of these? Reports please.

So 19 plants in a 6x6 under 1000 hps..Using Promix soil, 1/3 all the right nutes.
I plan to slightly lollipop them at 6 weeks just to give the nutes to the good buds and airflow to the canopy. Starting them in 5 gallon buckets that I plan to grow them in...no transplanting. No topping just trimming the bottom. Temp 72-74* with 35 to 40% humidity. 20/4 timing.

What results would a seasoned Auto Flower Grower expect from my plan and what would you change? How many plnats can fit into that space to full muturity? Thanks in advance for any advise.

You might be able to get buy with one light but the outer edges of the tent might get less than optimum lighting.6x6 is a little hard to cover with one light,4x4 would be great.I think you have the max plants for your tent.

If you can put two in there without causing heat issues, and the power consumption isn't a big concern, two of those would get more out of a max grow like that... I'm not sure how much more. With this kind of light energy, and a good fert regimen to go with your promix, you should have no problem averaging 30 g's per plant with the right auto and 3 gal pots, IMO. :peace:

Welcome to AFN. With HPS lighting you want a minimum of 50 watts per square foot, so 2 lights would be needed to give good coverage in the whole tent. I would suggest using 3 gallon pots, 5 gallon are a bit of overkill for most dwarf auto strains. Mature plants in 3 gallon pots require about 1.5 sq. ft. per plant, so you could put as many as 24 in there but it would be pretty tight. The 19 you are planning should be fine and will give you some room to work. The HPS lights will generate a lot of heat so I would suggest that you use air cooled reflectors or cool tubes to help control the heat.
