I've just noticed a white mouldy sort of problem with my plants, from what i've read it seems like it's mildew but it's in fairly specific spots.
Most of the affected areas are at the join where a stem becomes a leaf, right at the point where the 5/7 fingers all come out. Although i have noticed some places where it seems to be just growing off the leaf.
The stems of affected leaves seem like they are also kind of rotting, they have a sort of trench like split down the top that looks like its kind of degrading. :/

Sorry i haven't got any pictures, soon as i noticed it i panicked and took off all the affected areas and chucked them at the far end of the garden!

Any ideas what i should do? was thinking of spraying with baking soda as apparently that works but dunno if its a good idea this close to the finish..

Here's the info on my grow if it helps:

Your Equipment:
.1) 200w CFL
.2) 2-6 inches from tops
.3) Budget reflector
.4) Sort of has fresh air supply, just circulates round the room, usualy keep the door shut coz of smell though.
.5) Have 1 10cm PC fan extracting air and a 6" clip on fan for circulation
.6) Lights are on about 16/8 but it varies because i dont have a timer!

Your medium:
.7) Using a mix of bio bizz all mix, john innes no 2, and about 20% perlite
.8) in 10l pots

Your nutrients and water:
.9) Tap water, pH 7.5-8 (before adjusting)
10) Tested with cheap pH pen
11) Using vinegar for adjusting down and baking soda for up
12) Using plant magic nutrients,grow 5-3-3 at 1ml/l, bloom 3-5-4 at 4ml/l and bloom booster pk 13/14 at 1ml/l
13) Feeding with every watering, once or twice per week
14) occasional molasses and epsom salts added
15) stable pH levels
16) pH is 6.2-6.4 going in and 6.5-6.6 run off
17) No foliar feeding

Your growroom:
18) Indoors
19) approx 3'width x 1'depth x 3' height
20) lights on temps are anywhere from 20-30 degrees, humidity between 50-80%, lights off 15-20 degrees and 70-90%!
21) Saw one strange looking fly with red eyes, killed it and haven't seen any more since

Your strain:
22) Growing mi5, (indica/sat hybrid)
23) auto strain
24) just over 10 weeks old
25) flowering/ripening stage
26) From seed

Hey man,

Really can't help without some pictures. It looks serious, but I'm not comfortable recommending a treatment without further knowledge. I can however recommend you read the appendix sections on pests in the Growers Handbook by Ed Rosenthal. He has some pics you can compare with.

Regards!
H.
