Gnome Automatics White JEM/Black Dragon

So the growth was still at a stop, and i hate to talk about this here but at the same time it will teach us all something. The soil that i mixed on the first go around was not light enough and slightly acidic. I decided to do something that i have never done before. I figure why no give it a shot and see what happens. I did an actual transplant as a seedling. I have never seen this done with an auto but hey well see what happes.

Alot was seen when i did this transplant. The roots could not get through the soil like they needed too there was too much clay and twigs, bark and other items blocking root growth. So i went out today and bought a bag of black gold mix to see if i can recover them. If it does not work i will be starting over which is no big deal.

Im rusty as it has been years and soon i promise to deliver results. Even the best fail sometimes.

Sorry to hear of your troubles FD. I'm having a hard time keeping the humidity over 10-12% in one tent and losing colas to mold in another. I'll figure it out soon. Glad your working it out man. How's the veggies doing?

As a ph-theist :D I can't comment on your ph problems if they do exist

I think your lights being low was a big issue though

Hope you don't have neighbors to close black dragons made a big stink even with a filter

Shit happens mate and ill figure it out i have to knock off the dust and make sure that i get things right again. I knew that starting again i would run into trouble but not to this degree i was hoping it was more tep and rh but it was deeper than that. veggins are kicking ass and taking names mate

the lights were part of it i know but even after the lift nothing changed at all on them. I should have videoed what i saw tonight. I had some that were in smaller pots and the roots didnt even drop more than an inch into the soil. The bark and clay that was in there was locking them in place i think. This black gold stuff is amazingly light and already had plenty of perlite. But i added another bag just incase LOL.

I pick my neighbors wise sir, one is an ex-grower and the other is an old hippy, we all smoke together on the weekends

FD Ive dug out a bean sprout and placed it in another pot of soil... I just knew it wouldn't pop out but it did and grew just fine.. I guess its how ya handle em and how long there out of the soil.. if you did it fast out of one straight in the other they will be fine..
I wouldn't worry one bit..

Cheers TE and i am not really that worried. Just pissed that i may have botched this on my first time back. But hey cant win them all right. I guess that i would be more upset if i didnt have a stock of seed in the freezer that would kill a horse. I have plenty of my whites around but only a few of the dragons that were a specific cross from mossy.

It was a quick transplant that is for sure i didnt lay them out and leave em. They went from one to the other rather fast like. Even if they stunt ill IBL them and make sure to get some seed at least and try after they have dried out and what not. Only thing is they laid dormant for their first week so well see what happens. Each seedling had a good root base so well see what happens.

I have some of mossys crosses i was thinking of a breeding project in 2016 but i haven't ask her, and im not sure what direction i want to go in my auto breeding journey..

Its how i got started in breeding is talking/working with her. She guided me for a long time in my selections and then let me do the rest. always asked her for help and if it was ok to make the crosses. I have the up most respect for her and i have learned so much from her over the years that it is invaluable.

On a side note. Checked the little ones this morning, and the transplant didnt kill em so well see what happens in a few days if they decide to grow or not.
