Good Afternoon / Morning depending on where you are.

So just a quick one really, I had to sell my baby (GN Telos 008) and will most definitely aim to purchase another one as soon as I can (amazing lights) but in the mean time I am looking for a suitable replacement my budget is probably no more than about £300 and atm I looking at a few options.

Options being MarsHydro TC 1000 apparently replaced a 250 HID/MH. But would buy two possibly 3 depending on space.

Spec

Max Yield: 2.0g/watt

PPFD: 552 µmol/m²s

Replace HID/MH: 250w

Draw Power: 150 W±5%@AC120V 148W±5%@AC240V

Could possibly do 3 lights for that price.

Other choice is again Mars Hydro.

Mars Eco 600

Max Yield: 1.2g/watt

PPFD: 660

Or can get the basic 900w.

I can possibly wait a few weeks to spend a little more and get like the TC 1200 (1200) is available without timer at £339. I can wait get something on cheaper side and start growing within the next week or so..

Some extra info my tent is 120x120x200 and I will be looking to grow in a Wilma 4 Pot system (Possibly might mod into DWC System.

Other option would be to find some nice cobs at a decent price as I see even when you do four of the same strain your often get different phenos an d plants growing at different rates and heights and with COB I could adjust for height for each plant.

Really like to hear from people that have used any of these lights and if they have and have pics and or journals please point me in their direction. My first ever grows where 600w HPS then moved to 240w Telos 008 and looking to get somewhere in between, of course the more (Actual Wattage) the better but not at the cost of quality product.

I really like the look of the MarsHydro Pro II with Cree lights but not sure I can stretch at this time.

Any advice would be great, a couple of other brands I have looked at are

KINGBO, MEIZHI and

DERLIGHTS 3000w (600 Actual) £299 4x4 coverage.

Few pics

hello bro hows about a telos 006 or is that too expensive
https://gn.uk/store/telos-systems/gn-telos-0006

or a skyline 200-400mkII seen good results from there gear
https://www.ledhydroponics.co.uk/skyline/

or maybe go with a QB from ivisible sun not full spectrum but they wll get the job done hope this helps
https://invisiblesunled.co.uk/collections/quantum-board-kits

all these lghts have sections here on AFN

They all look great, the invisible is no go, says I'd need 2 of the ISH265's for my grow space and that's way over budget for now at over £500.

The ISH150 Pro however is doable and they say one replaces 300 hid and could probably afford two.

GN of course I know and love, but my next GN will be the 010 when I can afford it.

I do like the look of the Skyline 400 MK2 but it doesn't tell me what HID it would replace, and I find that info helpful when comparing, as I know what yield my 600w produced and same with my GN 008 (Not so much with last grow, I fucked that up lol)

Can anyone advise what this light would replace?

Thing is with the Vipars I can order from amazon and know 100% they will refund even up to a year if I encounter any problems or if I decide to say there are issues, amazon are conglomerate that I don't care about, however I would not want to treat a smaller business (Especially a UK business like GN in this way) lol

Update just spoken to one of the resellers advised I would want the 600 for my tent size which is £580 but he said if I get the 400 now, he do me a deal later on for the 200 which is tempting.

I'd probably lean towards the ISH150 Pro at this moment in time, that's more wattage than the telos 6 and cheaper.

Decisions, decisions lol.

The ISH150 Pro spec seem decent and as I say could get two.

The ISH150 Pro kit, this single board kit is similar to the ISH135 kit except we use the Samsung LM301B diodes instead of the Samsung LM561C. The diodes are 7% more efficient and will give you more useable light and photons. For flowering this kit will cover up to 2.5 x 2.5 ft and 3x3 and over for veg. TheISH150 Pro produces extremely impressive results for such a small light.Expect between 1 - 2 grams per watt return. This light can be run from 10w - 150w max at the wall. The light is the equivalent to 300w of HID lighting

it a real head scrather trying to make choices on lights personally id lean more to a unit like a skyline or gn for the lighting spectrum but do what ever funds allow like you say its only for the moment till you get some GN goodness back

Yea tbh I prefer the look of the Skyline build etc, I am a sucker for cosmetics haha.. But least with the Sun lights I can get 600w equivalent the Sky's I would need to lay down a lot more money.. Problem now is when the time comes do I go GN or Sky [emoji848][emoji12][emoji23]
