Extraction Where's all the eth extractors?

I think as the iso evaporates,it condenses moisture in the bottle.
keep it cool dark place.
going off track a lil.im beginning to think the bad stuff/impurities from extractions is not the iso/butane fault.its the impurities in the 1% of the unknown part,or the part that's not iso/butane.I mean even with water extractions nobody tests the ice/water before its used,but im sure a lab somewhere could test the hash afterwards and say X ppm this X ppm that residual solvents/other chemicals.

No need for an apology @archie gemmill ,everything you said is absolutely true,ya know,I'm sure there's even some "impurities" in rosin,jus sayin,the benefits can outweigh the bad ...let me think about this after a few more dabs...peace
 
Man I missed a lot in just a few minutes.i definitely agree about the fact that the alcohol pulls water in,and this is one more reason I'd think twice about jumping thru hoops to get 200proof,, haha me and my stupid youth used to drink a pint of the clear on the daily jus cause it was a cheap high,surprised I survived...Okay now that im on a computer screen and can see whats going on... @pop22 Thank you for the advice on the decarbing,thats what i was thinking on the temps,i just havent got around to doing more capsules yet.I got kinda lost on the squeezing the oil and stuff out(still new at this part of oils)(ill check a few more of your posts for clarification)..The previous post which i used the 91% was done just as a "filler" since i had some left over material,but i shoulda clarified to use the highest grade/99% cause its just as cheap as the 91%...Not sure on the "impurities" in anything because previous research comes up with a"its not required to be listed" answer @archie gemmill ..Ive read some good articles from skunk pharm on this tho...But as far as Butane goes they use the term" mystery oils" which could be from the making of the can(residue)...when its all said and done,i'd rather learn to do the extracts (safely of course)myself,that way i know what im smoking,vaping,dabbing,eating or ingesting(almost forgot about salves).... IMO butane, hexane, etc all contain known contamination from various sources, where as iso alcohol is distilled the same way as anything else that gets distilled. That's why ppm levels are 0 or close to it in distilled water, the evaporation leaves behind the impurities. the1% in 99% iso is close to pure water.

I have a gallon of 99% ISO coming. I did some extensive reading and isopropyl itself as not as poisonous as I've been lead to believe. now you certainly don't want to drink it but, I've always wondered, if its poisonous, why is it used medically? Well to get to the point, properly purged QWISO is no more poisonous then QWET. Vacuum purging is not needed in QWISO or QWET.

I've got some trim and about 40 grams of bud I'm going to use. The trim is mixed strains so it will be mystery oil!!! WOOOO HOOOO!

Awesome @pop22 !! And I do agree with everything u said..there is risk in everything but sometimes things get blown outta proportion,,I'm sure your gonna kill it when you do your extract ,don't forget to share some pics with us,I love seeing the finished products !!! Peace bro !!
