Dispensaries including Delivery services have mostly BHO Dewaxed Shatter. a bunch are starting to carry Solventless concentrates made the same way you make bubble hash, the difference is someone realized 25 micron bubble aka full melt is the same consistency of shatter as it is gummy, plyable doesnt stick to your hand when its finished, other than that there is a company called the Clear that uses heat and pressure to extract oil from the bud, they are unable to make a hard shatter with their process though. To be honest most of the shatter i made i sold to friends, it was difficult for me to sell a shatter to the shops as i dont have it branded and packaged like everyone else does now a days, so for me its more for myself when i make a batch. As far as edible tinctures go there are Lotions and creams that are safe to ingest and rub all over, i sold this sex cream for awhile that had cannabis infused in it and MAN was it great!

It's actually pretty messed up in california as the state says no concentrates made with hydrocarbon solvents are allowed. Big time busts for concentrate labs have happened but not in awhile now, I know there was PPM restrictions at 1500 PPM that the state had laied out, the feds have it at like 10,000PPM that deemed safe, i believe colorado has it at 50 ppm or less now?

Whats up bro!! Thats awesome..ive been swamped with work and getting further behind.i have a bunch drying but wont be able to run again this weekend cause i habe a camping/fishinh trip planned..make sure you tag me in for the purge and final weigh in !!!

An old iron worker I know shared his use of methyl hydrate 99.9% this can be found in most paint supply sections of big box stores and can be purchased in volume with no weird looks... no off tastes and less smell, I still freeze ground buds and fluids. I do a 30 second shake like a mother fucker then filter. I do get a little more of a greener wash but I dont have to share as much because people look down their nose at anything not transparent or golden lol. Still with prime herb and trim you get nice oil hits . Regards

Does it purge out of the product completely? There is no isopropyl smell or taste from my concentrTe, i evaporate the liquid out than vacuum purge it to completion, when theres no longer a chemical reaction aka bubbles forming and its clear and hard its finished. I know people can do it without a bacuum oven but its mever the same. Ive seen hexane extractions that allow you take take blck oil and turn yellow. cleans up all the bs in it, seems your method pulls more than trichimes, try grain alcohol made from corn or grapes, its a lot easier to purge out and tastes great
 
Hey guys @PureBlaze420 @Habitual ,each of us use our own methods and materials to make what we like,and each of us has our own preference, the good thing about our site is that we are be able to share ideas and opinions..Safety should always be stressed first and foremost..opinions on someone else's methods/finished product should be carefully considered before they are are posted,what works for one may not work for someone else, one person may like the finished product of one method but not another method,I appreciate everybody sharing ideas and methods and i have tried many methods myself..The friends that i share with are happy with the finished product and so am I,does this mean this is the only way to do it? Of course not..and i have also had friends of friends who do not like anything other than BHO..cool ,more for me...peace ...

I do make my own neutral spirits though for drinking and ujsscm is great recipe for corn mash hooch . Have you used methanol? It is The most basic alc and polar as is any and all alc. As for getting it to shatter all you do is put qwiso on a silicone mat or parchment paper and flash it off with a torch. It's not reinventing the wheel? Another way is to bho with N butane as is leaves no residuals, then after it is mostly evaporated add any room temp eth or 99.9 alc you choose. This boils off the remaining butane completely and you get golden honey extract after you reduce that as butane is non polar no water or chlorophyll extracted, no vacuum needed. Then again flash off your oil with a torch and it shatters.

As for its "never the same" how would you know what my extractions taste like?? I am sure to like yours if i ever tasted it, but i dont imagine you get to Calgary often? And i am not eligible to travel in the USA.

corn or grape ethanol evaporates much faster than iso and the final vacuum purge is way faster too. when someone "winterizes" they usually blast the butane through a tube and the contents go into a mason jar, the. butane is mostly evaporated before adding in 95% grain alcohol. You have to vacuun purge or the butane is trapped in forever, same with alcohol. Ive done several trial and error runs and lab tested for reaidual solvents to see if what i did worked or not, anytime i didnt vacuum purge i didnt get a clean smooth smoking product and it still had at least 500 ppm of ethanol or butane. I know thats still smokeable but i am not a fan of the cough and inattributed that to leftover solvents. ask @mohawk warrior as he tried several of my batchs and it wasnt until i switched to alcohol that the harsh butane cough was gone lol Heating up your evaporated alcohol oil will evaporate alcohol and allow it to start harden but in doing so you may be breaking down the thca into thc and then breaking the thc down to grt a less potent product and a "smoked smell" I havent tried other methods to produce concentrate that require more work to purge the solvent. Ill be getting a rosintech 15X15 Heat press soon and will be making solventless. btw full melt hash aka 25 micron and half melt aka 45 micron is dabbable and people usually claim its ice wax out here, severa ways ti make it! I dont know how yours taste but it is prettty black so looks like you have more plant matter in it? how does it taste and smell? like the original bud?
