Im always game for another extract run! When i can work out the free time my first is gonna happen. Just working out how we will evap it.
When doing it outside, how to you keep debris from getting in it?
Hi @Dudeski ,im glad that you are taking safety seriously and thinking ahead..the alcohol fumes can be dangerous/explosive and every precaution should be taken to vent the fumes..but as long as a good plan is in place before you start you will be fine..i have a screened porch but sometimes i get a bug do a kamikaze dive into the pan,you can get a grease screen from the supermarket that may fit over the pyrex...DO not allow others around that may not be as safety conscious as you..DO not smoke around the evaping pan..Do not do this in an enclosed space..MAKE SURE there are no ignition sources around like a pilot light from a water heater or stove..Since you have followed this thread for a while you know that i use an electric hot plate from walmart 20$,but you have also seen that i have used nothing more than a fan ,you dont have to use even a fan because it will evap in the air..if you try a no heat purge outside you can slip the pyrex into a doubled up painters screen to keep most debris out but that will depend on how windy it is..hold on ill shoot a pic...

You all need to check this out its perfect for this tread!!!!

gwotttt dang bro ,ive seen those,,they are friggin awesome!!! They are located in Longmont CO,the new version is about 750$,worth it since they recover about 90% of the alcohol they would pay for themselves..i am trying to work with them and bring them on as a vendor or for an interview...hmmm Christmas is close, just maybe....

Heres a pic of a painter screen that fit a five gallon bucket..i put the once washed leftovers in a pan,in the screen and leave it outside to dry for a second run later, this is last weeks leftovers.... Hey @hb5_darthkush do you have one of those???

Awww hell yeah! I wont do it any way but outside because i know what the eth can do if soarked. That screen is the answer i needed. Didn't want it full of leaves n stuff. I just dont grow enough green to use a machine yet, but those are freaking nice. I dont know how many ounces of the wash it will run at a time and how much oil you get in the end. I am dying to get some and try in my vaporizer.
Ima lightweight, a fuggin dab would put my ass to bed quick!

Niiiccceee,....ya know the good thing about those extractcraft units are since they are closed loop, they make minimal fumes, you can run it from an app on your phone aaannnndddd indoors!!!..when i seen them i knew i wanted one..jus gotta save the pennies to get it...

Plussss ,if you look ,there are not many,if any, other units for eth extraction units that are not in the tens of thousands of dollars!!!!! If ya find something worth sharing, post it here and share with community..the eth extract numbers/members are low here but eth extracts can hold their own against bho any day,and usually get better reviews at the major competitions!!!

Well i want to do i safely, and the machine is the way to go. If i can make a run to even try the oil, i may get one. Ive never done a dab, oil nuthin. These autos blow the local shit we get.
I watched the video and was impressed. Reclamation of the eth pays for it quickly.

 Thats my thinking too!! I could run a batch everyday and not have to worry about a 40$ handle of everclear per run,i know ive spent more than that on eth at least two times over!! It can be compared as riding a bike to cruisin in a Cadillac!!

And the ease of the run, no real stress over the evap process too, makes it enjoyable! I wonder if it puts out a smell while running?
