Extraction Where's all the eth extractors?

Stay tuned and i am gonna try a flash frozen fresh cut bud attempt this weekend using dry ice and eth extracted.sorta a live resin extract.will it work? I dunno, But we will all know after Saturday ...

Let me back up just a bit,there is one step that may/should help when using bud,sometimes i do it sometimes i dont....in order to get the most return and best product ,the bud has to be as dry as possible,i leave it in an open bowl for sometimes 4 weeks but it will only get as dry as the relative humidity,it is recommended to put in the oven at 200 to dry further,the term "frangible" is used,if you decide to add this in,chop it,dry it in oven,straight to freezer in covered bowl...if not,chop then freeze..when drying or decarbing( different temp),it will stink up the whole house and oven for the next 3-4 times the oven is ran,at least thats what wife says...

man it SHOULD work perfectly, and I think that you are going to really see what the potential for ETH extractions are, that is if alcohol will dissolve terps and if as you say your ETH extracts taste good I would think this is going to blow your socks off
 
Okay guys i am including this as it was my and many others guide,SPR to me is considered "the" authority even tho i take a few shortcuts,,i do run 1/2 gallons at a time and have the level of liquid above an inch but the hotplate still has a purge done in 60-90 minutes per pan..this is a quick read and is the original method i learned from https://skunkpharmresearch.com/qwet-extraction/
 
I think you posted that once before, or you sent me there. Thx again for the lesson. It is preferred to decarb for better results right? Cant remember that but i do remember a long read about the temp and time.
I'm getting excited about a first run!
 
You only need the decarb temp/time of 252F if it is gonna be used as edibles...to dry it as much as possible use the 200F temp time,when ive done this i chop first and after its out of the oven, scoop it up with something besides your hand cause you will see triches in the pan,and lose more the more its handled,i use thin cardboard sheet to scoop it up,like cereal box thickness. Then into jars ,then into freezer...i also use aluminum foil over the cookie sheet,wife put me in the doghouse once cause i didnt...

Max rep slap for that:slap: ,i have seen others purge in parchment to make consolidating the oil easier,it works for them,i tried it and wont do it again,for me it was more trouble that what it was worth,theres all kind of tricks and tips,some you may like and others not,get the basics down before you experiment,im by no means a "master" but have been extracting for about 2 years using different methods and trying new techniques when i can,some work some dont,i share the truth with you guys all the time since sept of 2015 when i started this thread
