Extraction Where's all the eth extractors?

So,beside the shatter this is the stuff I will be using for the coconut/lecithin capsules..I will try to decarb on wed,cook on Thursday ,leave in fridge overnight ,and stuff caps on Friday ,for a Saturday test run..(still gotta get a garlic press)..fingers crossed this time ..I will have a few friends test these so I can gather a broader opinion

Still on schedule and the stuff is in the oven at 250F for 26 min,I will update tomorrow when the double boil takes place...

Once out of the oven the bud was fork crushed

the kief added in

the wax had to be set in the freezer to roll it in to a ball( sort of)

moondust and wax added...tomorrow will be the cooking portion ....tbc...

Thank You @Dudeski but I will give the credit to @pop22 ,I am following his recipe on this attempt as my first try did not have enough potency,I'm looking for the "who hit me " effect !! Update tonight..Peace..

Sorry the update is late,I barely finished,damn you job you get in the way of my hobby!!!! I shoulda have taken more pics , so this will be text heavy ...at the start the coconut oil was warmed slightly to make covering the material easier.

.I don't have an actual double boiler so I din the best with what I had,the bowl was put in the pan of water but I had to take the temp of the water to about 200F to bring the temp of the material to 180F ,I was able to maintain this temp but it had to be stirred constantly ,after the cooking process the material was strained and put into the fridge overnight ,I will stuff a few caps this evening for free samples and if it's not strong enough I will be able to re cook it again with more bud/wax/kief/moondust

Naw, never tried it. I read that the filtrate was mostly husks from trichomes that have been broken open by agitation to yield their inner goodness. I am sure that some are intact and will provide some med. I suspect that based on the assumption that info is correct it should be about like dry sift with most of the cannabinoids missing.
I'm following along to see how your capsules come out. You are providing a good education and interesting read my friend.

That has been my experience in using a water bath too. One tip...use 3 jar rings in the pan to elevate the jar off the bottom and keep it from the direct conduction of intense heat.

Thanks for dropping by!! I always use the rings to elevate the pan when I do the eth extracts and they do help maintain a constant temp,I am still a rookie with the coco-oil /capsule product but because the way I had to water bath /double boil it having the rings would have kept the temps to low,I will have the feedback by sunday night and if they are not strong enough I will re-do my cooking process to better standards.
