New Grower When do people lollipop their autos?

I know some people say you shouldn't touch autos but I'm Hoping we are getting over that now.

My mephistos seem to have done ok being trimmed at day 30 but I know that won't work for other strains.

So, should it be done in veg, in pre flower or after the stretch?... Or another time you find best.

My next strains are big Buddha blue cheese and an advanced skunk mass, I grew it in my first grow and this plant took everything I threw at it and still gave a nice smoke of a reasonable amount, and also have another sour blues and an auto blues.

Was also wondering when to ponytail and for how long at each time but that's another thing. Thanks for opinions

It's when you remove all the lower rubbishy buds so the plant puts its energy in to nice phat colas.

Iv not tried pony tailing yet but it's where you keep the top leaves closed to stop the central stalk growing so the sides can catch up

I do it when buds stop forming and they start filling out or around day 45-50.

Oh really? I would have thought that would be to late but if it works that's good, I did at day 30 and don't know if it stopped any stretching.
