I'm going to split the difference and go 19-5. Or is there something special about round numbers?

Yes sir, if it works work it!!!!!!

Not sure if this was mentioned, but the way I see it is that we are always as indoor gardeners, trying to replicate natural conditions. Autoflowers have Ruderalis roots that come from above the 50th parallel north.

At this latitude the sun is visible for 16 hours, 22 minutes during the summer solstice. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Summer_solstice

So I'd imagine anything in between 16 and 20 hours daylight would be ideal, depending on the origin of the ruderalis.

I grew my last auto 19/5 and it did great iMO and I will continue to give this a go in the future but I truly believe that light cycle is strian specific as are many many factors of growing...cashing in my two cents here, but I think exeryone should experiment & find what works best for them

....ps. I voted 18/6

I think 18/6, it need to rest when it,s grown a little. in the beginning i used 24/0...My thougts..

20/4 always worked for me..

ive always used 18/6 always wanted to try 20/4 but dont think it makes a hell of a difference and is usually strain dependant

24/7 so they dont stretch ^^
They want light wen they stretch so overfeeding em with light should make em a bit shorter and give em more energie to make fatt coalas? :D
