I think you would increase your stress and intern raise your chances of getting hermies. erratic light schedules and autos usually don't mix.

That's the impression I've been getting from the reading I've done here, by far the most informative auto forum I've come across, by far, I can tell you that it doesn't stress photo strains, they seem to love it, but obviously photos and autos don't play by the same rules. Maybe I'll do a side by side after I get a few practice runs with autos under my belt. Just a thought

Hell ya test every theory out there! that's the only way to know what works.....:smokebuds:

another way

Guys, I'm new to growing, I just started 2 autos, La belle Afrodita strains, but my idea is this:
in egg production they use 6/6 cycle so that 1 day becomes 2 and they have 2 whole cycles per day, sometimes they even use 3/3 cycles and a single day becomes 4. And birds produce 2 or 3 times more eggs than usual, they believe that they experience day and night whenever light goes on and off. What if the weed plant can do the same?
Besides, what about 24/6 cycle that will eventually increase light period and speed up the growth and you'll still have rest periods. Will this be helpful or it will just confuse the inner processes inside the plant? Don't want to try it on my plant the 3/3 or 6/6 cycle but I'm on the 24/6 cycle right now. Will see what happens.

This to me will cause a lot of stress! inconsistent lighting schedule's can cause herming....I would say it's a bad idea. as far as going 3 on and 3 off or 6 on 6 off?

I dunno, but I might have to go with 16/8 for stealth grow... I hope it works!.. I need the lights off while at work.

im a little confused as to what your plan is... are you going to try running a 24/6 light period throughout the entire grow? if thats the case, i think you will be fine with that cycle and i look forward to seeing how your experiment turns out

I'm confused - 24/6 ?? Are there 30 hours per/day in your world. Here at the zoo we only have the standard 24hours. Unless Fergie time is added (ManU Footie joke !) where upon one can add as much as Fergie wants. Or did. Sorry, Sir Fergie. (Despot)
Up the Wolves!
ep.

in the world of indoor growing we can manufacture 100 hour days if we are so inclined.
