Lighting What would be the best light for me

Coverage isn't the only determining factor my friend, useable light.. remember, you mentioned yourself, the par watt conversion for LED? Coverage area is not an efficient measurement of the strength of the light. I use a 600W HPS in a 2x3 space and the plants at the edge of the canopy don't thrive quite as much as those in the middle. No one is saying the plant won't grow with the LED, we're saying that it won't grow as well. Also, note he said "800W of HPS" from 2.. not 600W of HPS from one.. so, that's 400W HPS each and 2x3 is about right for a 400W HPS good sir. That's 75W/sqft.

i think were getting our wires cross the op said the led claims its good as a 600w hps par watts
im just stating i doubt id could see 600g+ pulled in a 2x3 area with that panel and ive mentioned it could be more than 50% effcient with the led vs hps which is more than fair

my 600w does a 4x4 with the right reflector i actually down played the hps a touch to keep the peace on here

You quoted the post where he was responding to me regarding the two LEDs being equivalent to two 400W HPS.

so one SP111D-210w = 400w HPS?

if i bought 2 i would be rockin equivilent too 800w hps?

the websight says..The 126X-PRO LED Grow Light is the most powerful grow light in the world for a 2' x 3' area, with tested PAR output matching that of a 600W HPS!

so instead of a 3' x 3' foot tent if i got a 2' x 3' ft tent one of these would be perfect? :smoke:

sorry just double checked it was the right post

par watt might be technically correct but op might assume it means 600w hps yield

2 units should be the equiv over 600w hps maybe more if you factor in extra par it claim so 600w+
real world who knows be nice to see a side by side

try and google some diary's on it
