What went wrong with those babies? Want to learn from my mistake

That's a hard one. I'm inclined to say yes, but then if I do it and it fails, it's on me. It's not that difficult to remove the helmet, but why not wait a day or so. Most of the time they free themselves from the shell and then you don't have to touch the frail seedling...

Removed!
But she looks odd, think there´s still some membrane holding the cotiledons?

Second round is up:

1x Banana Purple Punch is out, looking healthy
1x Strawberry Gorilla did not reach the surface yet
1x Strawberry Gorilla is out, with a HELMET HEAD!

I´ve misted phed water over them, leaving waterdrop hanging on the shelf trying to soften it.
Should I try to remove it gently if not out in the next day?

as bob says id leave her a day or 2 and I think she will free herself also I think its a good idea starting in the cups as you cant really overwater them easy also I hope you have great success on this run that's why its best just to try again and learn from your mistakes

Hehe Tom, he's just as impatient as I am

Now I keep thinking about the membrane holding the cotiledons to open...
@Mañ'O'Green would say to stop beating the poor baby with a sitck:deadhorse:

I already poked a hole on the 3rd one to see if she´s coming... yes its coming hehe

But yes I´m a little impatient. That´s why I insist with autos! :baked:

Thank you Tom! I also doubled the cups, the inside cup i´ve cutted the bottom and side, so I´ll be easier to transplant to the final pot.

For how long do you think I can hold the babies on the propagator?
I´ve opened the top vent since 2 of them are out, maintaining the 95% humidity and temps around 26-28oC (78-82f).

me personally once my leaves open up I put them under the light I very rarely use propagators but depending on your outside environment you could leave them a couple of days if you like

i start every plant i grow in solo cups and as I said I sometimes use a make shift propergator till my leaves open up but as I said once they show I pop them right under without nothing

Thanks Tom! Lights ON!
It´s a 240w lm301h board, on 30% power and 30inches from the babies. Guess this is ok right?!
I´m waiting for my airpots to arrive tomorrow, that´s the reason I asked for time inside the propagator.
Then I´ll presoak the pots with low charge of Green House Feeding BioEnhancer, and transfer the ladies to their new home.
Should I wait another 24-48 hours after presoaking the pot prior transplanting?

I'm a coco grower normally and them couple of days in the cups will be great anyway for the roots anyway also regarding preparing your pots @Bob's Auto's will be able to advise you more but when I use lightmix soil and pot them up I've never presoaked the pots as I use everything out of the bags and just water them in same even with my coco plants but that's why id like you to get bobs opinion
