What plant training method/s do you use on Autos?

Describe below your plant training techniques. I've seen people train autos on the site and I've seen other plants grown with no training. Just wanted to make a thread for growers to let everyone know how they train there Autos. Or if you dont train at all your welcome to let us know too. Ready? Set.... Go!

Ill go first. I am going to LST this grow (on 5 fastbuds auto cheese)

Mostly, I top early, and LST by tying branches to spread them out after. If things get really dense, I remove fans/minor branches to keep air moving.

But hey, I know a lot less about this than others on this site. :biggrin:

I use the same method and I'm always happy with the structure of my plants. I'll screw up the rest of the grow but the structure will be great !

experimenting is exiting, its often about the genes some variety don't like to train as hard as others. anything small, bushy, indica-looking gets a fairly regular light trim from week 4ish onward just taking lower fan leaves and occasionally a smaller leaf that gets in the way. Also crushing, everything gets some inter-nodal crushing just squeeze gently till you feel the structure burst inside slightly (weeks 4-6) can even be applied more aggressively to control size. (the room is a constant roll so size management is a must.) finally big fan of bondage either a classic tie down or even a full LST usually determined by the structure and her health weeks 4-5. So hear is a tie down ...

a real space saving technique for anyone limited that way.
have considered striping below the 3rd node as default ... anyone do that?

i top the majority of mine and lots of lst and at times to keep my canopy in a good place i will supercrop taller strains this Humboldt choc mint has been topped and tied down very early on and I've super cropped her

@St. Tom
that looks fantastic which way are you feeding the autopots reservoir or soil supplements?
Also how old was she when you super cropped her?

About 2 days ago I supercropped her but I've done that even later to others as I find with a healthy plant they go crazy. and she's in a 15 ltr autopot in coco/clay pebble mix and on emerald harvest nutes also if you want to check my other girls the link to my Sanlight thread is below in my sig
