What plant training method/s do you use on Autos?

Describe below your plant training techniques. I've seen people train autos on the site and I've seen other plants grown with no training. Just wanted to make a thread for growers to let everyone know how they train there Autos. Or if you dont train at all your welcome to let us know too. Ready? Set.... Go!

Cinderella Jack, topped on the 4th node, day 18 of life, LST day 24, bottom fans removed day 28. Tied down but tension adjusted to allow for stretch, a light defol here and there to keep her happy, day 38 today.

was already lurking your grow friend, those cbd girls look the bomb.
health is definitely a big part of it if all the other stats are ok she can take quite a beating but if its two dry or hot then forget it
had a heatwave last week and was a little late to train the Cheese XXL x Mandarina in the first two photos (it was week 6) and while she took it fine she needed some support at the node on some branches to convince her to bend not snap. another few days of harsh climate and she would have been like bending wood :rolleyes1:

My little girls are responding to LST quite well. Started day 21 and day 18 for two of the girls with just bending them over for now. The growth from the newly exposed is really amazing. That makes me think that LST needs to be used as soon as feasible.
The youngest gets her intro today after they all get their presents I bought them yesterday.

I let them grow the way they want, 2 plants per 2 x 4 tent.
Here's an auto whose tent-mate was accidentally broken by me.
Letting them grow as they please ends up with them filling the canopy with no help from me, if each plant is given about 4 sq ft in hydro.
This plant has a nice open structure with buds everywhere.

@Simplicio That's a nice picture open and uninhibited is quite pretty and if the genetics are their it should yield fine for the space.
unfortunately sometimes a space is limiting or with the rolling grow and you need all the space shared across multiple generations.
alternatively sometimes patient mobility issues make smaller more usable its all about application no wrong answers
@WildBill Sometimesas early as day 14-17 the weight of the string itself can be used to create a slight bend its amaizing how much stress good genes will take sometimes the most battered bud is the best bud

Not all grow the same. if the nodes are tight I might FIM, but I top most and tie-down. to spread the plant, then View attachment 1233627medium defoliation . I had grown some photos in SCROG so I am always training. My latest I ponytailed then tucked leaves and pulled down with stakes like a mainline. Still trying to figure out what is best for me and the plant

I'm topping around node 5 or 6 and will always heavily lst to open canopy and reduce brought. I got a 6 inch tall Mephisto that's 18 wide :)

But going forward I'm going to let my plants take more shape by themselves and interfere less

I miss the growth of dwc hydro but love the simplicity of growing in biobizz light mix. I get good results in my new medium but definitely different than my hydro plants. My hydro plants used to grow fan leaves bigger than my head. I havent seen a massive fan leaf in my soil plants yet but they grow decent still. I love the simplicity of my new system. Hydro was a pain and lots of work at times. I grew in single 5 gallon buckets when I grew hydro with general hydroponics nutrients. Now I'm running mega crop 2 part and biobizz light mix. So easy! And I don't miss 10 different bottles of liquid nutrients. I'm loving the dry nutrients and loving the new mega crop formula.
