I dont recomend LED's @ all for flowering plants, but if u are looking for the best of the best on the LED's then u all should check out the Solar Storm, it has 2 modes on it; Bloom and UVB.... Also I do believe it was invented in California as well as produced there. I'm pretty sure she is a small fortune

Look through some of the grow journals here and you will see some outstanding results from plants being flowered under LEDs. Compared to the 400 watt HPS I used to use my buds are bigger and much tighter. IMO the reduced heat is worth it in itself. While their up front cost may be more, the savings on electricity will pay for the difference in a relatively short period of time. Add in the cost of replacement HPS bulbs and you come out way ahead when using LEDs.

Well sticky, you clearly need to review some LED grows on here before making a post like that. Many of us are getting top shelf results from LEDs as far as quality and yield. There's no reason to drop into a thread just to be a troll about it.


I use a Blackstar 240 in a 2x2x5 area and I'm still getting super big tight buds even though the plants have had massive ph problems the whole grow. I'm super impressed with my led and would recommend blackstar to anyone looking for a good tent light.

I'm currently using a 200W Diamond Series from Advanced Led and I'm very happy with it! No heat and it's built like a tank! It works really well for my space! Here's my G13 Labs Blueberry Gum vegged for 24 days and flowered now for 19 days (43 days from seed). It's huge for it's age lol It's in a 3 gallon bucket DWC with Fox Farms nutes.

I hate LEDs but I started using them. I am getting more production under the LED addition but I'm sure it is some other reason. The plants under the LEDs grow a little bigger than the ones not under the LED's but I am sure it is not the LEDs other factor's are involved. I am ordering more LEDs for the Fall not that I think they work but because I want to prove once and for all it is all hooiewash this LED stuff. Maybe I will be 3 more panels. That ought to really prove my point.

Those prices are crazy,$999 for 345w of power,they must be having a laugh You could buy 2 blackstar 240s for around half that price and nearly get the same power draw
