Going down to shops to pick up some paints for my new grow box in an hour-ish.

Would a flat white be best or a slight or higher glossy finish? :help:

ill be using leds so heat reflecting shouldnt be an issue for the plant, nor the paint.. right?

UFO 10.75" Diameter and box is only 11inch deep.. (20" high, 22.5" wide) bad space I know:rolleyes:

Went with slight gloss for ease of cleaning instead of matt. Thats a good idea with the plastic sheets, there was some of that 2 ply white sheets with the corigated inside layer at shop. But scored the good quality/brand paint on the cheap!

Thanks for the response, KUDO.

Matt white bathroom paint, gloss creates hotspots like a mofo.

countzero404/KUDO - Yeah I did read a little bout heat spots. Was thinking the switch to led would make that unaplicable? also the white looks flat/matt as! Will take it into the sun later to see if the white shines. My nice "Indian Red" for outside of box is med/high gloss. Top space is for vaporizer and containers/chop/pipe and so on.. the bottom larger space is for a couple plants at a time if it'll allow me!2012-07-17 10.48.22.jpg2012-07-17 10.48.47.jpg2012-07-17 10.49.07.jpg
Will make some nice 2x-4x thickness of material for curtains, white on inside, black on outside. Trying for a nice blending in for my room. Sort of will match being next to my chocolate colour bed frame now.

IT is ok what you have done in my opinion is that the reflection is a small percent.... basically anything white will don you are talking percents of a percent here
