New Grower Wetwood - First grow - Green Crack Auto.

Happening fellow growers, finally starting my grow this is my first so I reached out to a few folk and gave me some awesome advise cheers. @EvilScotsman @THC2017

• Fastbuds green crack auto
• Black orchid tent
• Black orchid carbon 4" extractor
• Alien hydro easy feed 16ltr pots x 2
• Alien hydro reservoir 60ltr tank
• UFO 90w led by prakasa genuine 90w apparently. I found this to be extremely bright for the watt & price hopefully give you guys some feedback on it.
  "also ordered 1000w mars from china apparently genuine but i doubt it hopefully get 300w out of it fingers crossed."
  
• Essentials EC Pen Digital Meter
• Canna coco pro 50 Ltr
• Canna clay pebbles
• Canna Coco Nutrient Starter Kit -
  • 1 X Canna Coco A & B 1 Litre Nutrient
  • 1 X Canna PK 13/14 250ml
  • 1 X Canna Cannazym 250ml
  • 1 X Rhizotonic 250ml

Will be germinating in the paper towel into a sealed plastic bag method seems to get great results and i have all the stuff here.

I have a bit of a side project underway as well iv seen a few people here using the raspberry pi' with there grows.

So being the geek I am writing a script and website to be an automated grow site taking pictures, logging ph levels, automation of reservoir anything from adding phup and down to flushing reservoir. Essentially a very detailed diary of my grow experience. will be interesting to see the fluctuations in ph levels.

hope i haven't forgot anything will get more pictures up soon as the project begins.

I'm following this one, Because I was thinking about doing the same with a Pi or Arduino...

@Dichoti cheers for the follow bud, I prefer working with Pi's *HA* got some real nice Ideas for my PiGrow and to make the control of neuts easier will be doing a Tangs Easy Feed formula, the price of the components is a bonus as well.

Will your journal contain 'What I did and how I did it' for the Pi system?
If not, maybe put a journal for THAT into the DIY section?

Welcome to The Forum

I've grown with those Mars LEDs they give you about half the rated Watts so they're about 50% efficient. I would probably grow two plants under a thousand watt light I would think, if I wanted them to get to a decent size that is. The reason I say to plants is when you get into flower you're going to want those lights down within maybe even 12 in of your plants that will give you a solid penetration 18in down. So the footprint on the Mars ends up being a little smaller if you want the optimum nug size.

Probably won't be filling that 60 liter Reservoir up at first. You might use just 20 for the first three or four weeks and then you might find yourself going for the full 60.

In hydro it's good to have something to inoculate your nutrient mix against fungus and rot. I really like sm90, it may not be available in your area hydroguard is also good. In the past I used to use 2 Mill per gallon of food grade h202 40%. (Hydrogen peroxide is).

I think @derickincolorado is around the Forum these days he does quite well in Hydro.

I was going to use canna Cannazym for the reserv. Would that suffice? Evilscotsman told me about the sm90.

Thats great to know about that china product which reminds me i need a tape measure.

yeah what jingo said about the sm-90 not sure if i mentioned that but its pretty essential lol. stops bad shit growin in your res. some manage without it but i wouldnt advise. a £20 bottle will last you forever tho. i get 3300 litres from a litre bottle.

I thought id save money and use the one that came with canna starter pack. If you guys think the canna Cannazym wont suffice ill buy the sm90.

hi and welcome scratching my head as there are a couple of others that play with pies and ardwinos,but i canna think.
think jim conner a utuber did a auto greenhouse with lil para something pumps and all,interestuing stuff good luck.
