New Grower Wetwood - First grow - Green Crack Auto.

You're right, There are endless possibilities. I'd rig it to read ec or to figure it up from ppm, and have it figure out how much to add from there, too.
Shame you can't rig up some sort of AI to "read" what the plant says by it's leaves, though.

...or to combine all the grower methods you see the guys with the lb badge mentioning. If you could figure out how to do that, You'd really be able to push plants to their full genetic potential, ya' know?

Well you could have multiple cameras on certain nodes and have some kind of learning software show it good leaves and then bad leaves. Thats alooot of work tho.

Well we have tds sensors which is for ur ppm. I will be asking alot of exp hydro growers about ranges and perfect numbers.

Thats the main issue tbh - the experts modify their feeds on the fly when they can see that the plant needs more or less of something.
This chart may be beneficial to you though, as it would give you an array for what you would need to do based on water/pH/ppm changes:

Saved!! Thats a cracking bit of info. As you say on the fly altering.which is possible once the rules are in place.

I suppose this project will get to a point where the only way to go would be ai driven self learning. Love it

That's a great chart to use when you're growing in Hydro. If you can get in tune with your plants you don't read any pH up and down once you set your nutrient solution.

I got to talking to my little brother about it ((there's three computer science degrees between us.)) And we came to the conclusion that planning and layout would be the hardest part of creating an automated system. Finding "plug&play" ph and ppm meters would also be a difficult part of the build. Could do the script in python.
As for a Co2 sensor for the tent((I'm going to be running an enclosed tent, everything but the plant, light, fans and extractor are external)) you could probably rig a household Co2 alarm to open a vent on the tent or whatnot if the ppm inside got too high, Instead of setting off an alarm...
...in my head, you'd disconnect the contacts from the piezo in the Co2 alarm, and run them through a transformer and control circuit that would open your external vent if you got above a certain ppm, and would close after an allotted amount of time.

I'm starting to get visions of a weedcam and maybe a broadcast lulz

three csd's im sure you guys could all do a bit of the project each and have something near completion within a week. python for sure, most scripts are already written bit of modifying and walla.
i have a funky idea for my pi case. will make something out of lego resembling a Refinery.
Id say getting all the neut formulas would be a long grind but at the end of it. you would have something you can reuse.
With the logging of the diary it will built and plot a graph then we can analyse it and see any patterns if so write them into the system for a healthier plant.

Personally id just fire all of that onto a relay board, control it with the pie on certain sensor reading have it either real time or from a database every few minutes or hour.

WELLLL.... my site will be internal only but live feed is one of the features. if we were getting really jazzy we could take the LED protection glasses and filter the camera with them.

never seen it like that before. nice find. you dont need to be an expert to wing it like. theres not a lot too it really. i spotted in tangs schedule there on the first page hes summed it up pretty well in about 10 lines. if you always err on the side of caution. up things regularly in small amounts and keep the feed slightly under what theyre taking and its generally just a case of upping things as bits turn yellow. i always get a bit of N tox at the start for one reason or another but other than that very little goes wrong.

This is where id like to be at, and cant wait to get started! will have more pics of the setup within the next couple of days was going to take pictures of all my gear but you've all seen it before will just wait till its all together and built.
