Hey guys,
Long time lurker, first time poster. After seeing you guys' Fast Buds grows I had to try them out for myself! This is my 2nd grow ever, going micro/stealth style in an old dresser that I converted, so, naturally, this is a CFL grow. I currently have 4 23 watt 6500k bulbs in and I will be adding 2700k 42 watt bulbs as the plants get bigger. Lights have been on a 20/4 schedule since day 1. Temps have been usually between 61-75°F, but reached 80°F yesterday. I'm using my own organic soil super soil that I developed after a bit of research.

Things have been going great so far. Currently, the plants are on day 22. Both have shown female preflowers. I'm very excited about how this grow is going. I am concerned, however, over how droopy my fastberry plant has become, which is really why I am posting. I did not intend to post anything due to a bit of paranoia lol. Regardless, I am going to post to see what you guys think and it may turn into a journal if it is the will of the people. Anyways, thanks for checking it out, can't wait to get some expert opinions :)

I'm not sure why the images were turned sideways... sorry about that. Let me know what you guys think!

EDIT: Uploaded same pic twice

So I've identified the problem, silly me didn't connect the dots earlier. Simple overwatering issue. Three days ago I gave the plants a complete soak for the first time. Didn't take the small plant/big pot warning seriously enough. I think I stunted them a bit but that's okay, I need them small anyways lol. When they dry out I'll go back to doing small waterings for a while. Still debating whether or not to do a full journal but I'm feeling quite compelled as they are a fantastic resource for the entire cannabis community. Will likely update in a few days. Peace out guys :smoking:

Yea I had overwatered mine last grow and it looked very similar. You should keep posting pics, I'd like to see how this turns out. Good luck!

So last night I came home at about 3 am and checked on my plants and they both looked fantastic. No drooping on the fastberry or anything. Check again this morning, soil is quite dry and the plant is drooping again, so I water and then... super drooping again  seems this will be a finicky plant for me. However, the OG has been a walk in the park so far.

Day 24:

First off, a picture of both plants:

Firstwe have the West Coast OG:
Height: 3.25 in
Width: 9.5 in
Plant is nice and stout. Looks very healthy overall.

Upskirt, she's a little hairy

...and for the fastberry:
Height: 4.75 in
Width: 10 in
Still a little droopy but otherwise looks healthy, except for the leaf tips seem to be clawing just a bit now. Not too worried about it. Lots of little pistils shooting up.

Sorry for some of the pics being sideways again... I know how to fix it now. I believe that's all for now.

Looking good man! Are you limited on vertical space? If so you will want to start LSTing those girls soon. They are going to stretch like a mofo. What are your temps in that cab?

If you use your phone to take pictures take them with the phone sideways volume buttons facing down and then your pictures will not post sideways anymoreZz nice looking plants by the way..

Yes, vertical space is extremely limited. The cab itself has a height of about 28 inches and I lose about 10 of that to my pots and lights leaving 18 inches for them to grow lol... I plan on doing a scrog once they hit about 6 or 7 inches, to maximize my light efficiency and utilize as much space as possible.
Temps are around 76-77°F with lights on and low 60s with lights off.

Thanks for the tip! I realized that as I was posting this update lol, the couple pics that were right I took like that

@Colonel you should look into sticking surge protectors to the sides if the cab then plugging bulbs into the strips that way your bulbs would be completely horizontal and take up less vertical space. Might only give you a couple more inches, but every little bit helps! I'm on day 19 of my grow if you want to check it out, its in my sig. Team Fast Buds ftw!
