    Week 2 update
    @Jean-O
My Blueberry Cheezecake is coming along nicely !!
It’s day #15 if my hillbilly math is correct
She’s been transplanted into a GroBucket system since the evening of the 22nd. Happy Frog and Organic Pro-mix in a 1:1 ratio.
Here’s some photos of that process and the BBC as well as some other JeanO’s I have in the tent now
    Sifting out the soil mixture.

I really like the feel of this sifted soil.

Sifted soil to finish it off.

Didn’t have a solo cup to make the insert hole so used a ceramic pot in the greenhouse then moved it inside the tent to climatize around 12 hours

A little root action from the BBC. Added Great White to the hole and rootball before transplant.

The little albino-ish Hellhound didn’t make it and laid over on the 23rd. I had put it in a 3gal fabric pot early to try and not disturb any roots but it slowly just faded away.
Here’s a Hellhound XXL I started to make sure I could get one viable plant of this strain. Tonight- Day 1

RBF is a beauty also. Tonight -Day 15

This WTF went in a little earlier than normal for me, which was on day 4 and there were no roots visible but since I was already in the mood I just dropped it also.
Here it is tonight on day 6

All were offset in the bucket to hopefully be able to spread some out with some LST and make it easier to get to the watering pipe.
I’ll move the new Hellhound XXL to a GroBucket on day 12.
I’m trying to come up with a cover of sorts for the buckets, kind of like the Earth Box covers. Been trying to come up with something like those that have elastic but I’ll probably just use some panda film and a Rubber band to hold it down. Torn between that and just planting cover crop and adding sanitized straw as a mulch.
    Decisions, decisions !!!

    Catch y’all next week
    Just realized I didn’t add….

Let’s get it on Suki !!! LOL not a problem from my point of view !!

    week 2
  • I started 4 seeds (3 for Thunderdome and 1 for another project). All sprouted. All got as far as dropping helmets. Three promptly wilted and disappeared. The surviving WTF looked like she was a gonner too. I think fungus gnats ate the roots, and I found a thrip munching on what was left. I was embarrassed to even post a pic of the sorry, sick little runt. I sprayed with spinosad, and mixed mosquito bits with the nutes. Now she's 2 weeks old and looks like she might survive, so here are pics at one week and at 2 weeks. Not much difference, but at least she's turning green. For comparison, my first try at WTF was ready to top above node 5 at 3 weeks, and wound up producing 13 oz. of killer bud, with a tangle of branches that was hard to unravel at chop time. My Okie mom (RIP) used to say "If y'ain't good fer nuthin' else, you can always serve as a bad example." So here you are, at 1 week old and today at 2 weeks:

(you can see the thrip in the first photo)

    Week 3
  • We are at week 3 since sprout. Doing well but both are showing that inter vein discoloration. I'll try and up the Epsom dosage. I was kind of light last time because I wanted to see how she reacts. Bounced back well from the topping the other day. In the past I started LST at this point to get some light to the lower branches but with the floraflex mats, I can't get stakes in so I'll just let her go for now.
