I didnt mean to over-simplify the mixing process... I heat and thoroughly mix as well before filling carts, but I have always winterized when using the True Terpenes Viscosity product. My question was more intended to clarify that there are no other steps... such as winterizing... when using the Mass Terpenes Liquidizer.

For me no. Just boil it till it stops bubbling

I'm new to making vape... very.
But I dived right in at the deep end and purchased a press.
How long will this vape made with mass terpens keep ?

Are any of you guys buying the terpens in the UK? If so could you advise a good place to purchase

Dry Ice, Everclear, & Herb--
Separate mason jars for Everclear & herb, place in bottom of cooler. Put dry ice on top I use a grill screen so dryice sublimates cold down.
About 3 hours to get temp to -60f.
Remove dryice and quickly combine alcohol and herb place back into cooler & put dry ice back on top... after about 10 min stir dryice with a silicon stir stick (stir stock is kept in cooler) I do this every 5 min until my soak has gone 25 min.
Remove ASAP & I strain through a 75 micron new bag also kept cold in the cooler... for me this is the fastest way to get my beautiful golden wash.
I then strain again through a 25 micron brew bag also kept cold in the cooler... then I strain through brown paper coffee filters two together.
Done
Avg yield is 4 grams, (6 if done at room temp, but only for consumption)...I then evaporate the alcohol off at no higher than 150f in double boiler NO flame... when reduced to about 2 Oz liquid I pour off to a small Penzi spice jar & reduced to only oil on my coffee warmer, again no higher than 150f
This is where patience is needed, it takes forever to get it to the point of NO mini micro bubbles, when you think the bubbles are gone they’re not!!!
Well From there simply load up some real C Cell Cartridges with 4–2 mm holes for vaping...My Oil made this way IS “NOT MIXED WITH ANYTHING “ I vape it straight, but again critical to have at least 4–two mm holes or larger in your Cartridges
It took me about four trial generations to get to this point.

I’ll be buying a lab hot plate eventually, much easier than stove top.
This works for me & I will not change my procedure, taste great, potent, and best of all NO —PG, PEG, or any other emulsifiers...!
Oh I usually use 2 Oz herb & ~40 Oz
Everclear... here in MO it’s legal...
I also have a legal grow license & cultivators license MO.

Sorry, the 4 Gr dryice yield is using one Oz herb, 8 Gr for 2 Oz herb...

I quite vaping altogether with the vitamin e problem and have gone to dabs. But when I was making vape oil I used Ethanol at first then moved on to rosin and terps.

Just do not need that with the Dabs.

Rosin is good stuff, But I have no experience with turning it into vape oil...As we all probably know Rosin still has fat, lipids etc. in it, unless it is properly winterized, But then the argument starts have a I lost terps have I not lost Terps etc. etc.
I would suggest that you press high quality hash that was made using a 160µm bag & then press your rosin.
This will produce a Rozen product with much much less undesirables fats lipids chlorophyll etc. etc. ((If you do the math you may get about 5 g of hash out of 1oz of Herb & 3.5 Gr rosin so 70%oil to 30%fiber ratio...
VS rosin made from Herb which most likely has a ratio of 20%rosin to 80% fiber...thus the 70/30 VS the 20/80
(Moral of the story start with cleaner material get cleaner material)
Mixed with some terps for vaping may be one solution !?!?

Now and then I extract oil from hash again using everclear, steam off Everclear & use a honey straw for smoking. (most of the hash I use end up getting about 68 to 70% oil the remaining 28 to 30% is just fiber from the resin gland.
It is some of the best stuff I have smoked I think, as far as potency.
(just to let you guys know I am not really after the best tasting I am after pure potency, That’s the reason I make my vape oil the way I do)
Looking back at my original vape oil post, I realized I actually use a 15 µm filter bag now vs coffee filter for the final filtering and yes that is done at least -30°.

MassTerpenes SerVm and first press 185°F rosin will outperform any solvent extracted oil - period. Read my threads on the subject with over 3 years of trying every method out there short of CO2 extraction!

Where do you get your statistics? Rosin pressed in 90 micron bags 3 minutes at 185°F will be closer to 70% actives (THC, CBD, etc., and Terpenes) and 30% wax, lipids and minor solids.

But like I said why even mess with that just vape the rosin directly in a Terp Pen. That will beat any of your solvent extractions hands down!
