I don't have a thread to contribute yet but I do have two bs240uv's and an old style Mars 100X3 that I will be replacing this winter. Maybe I should try my hand at a small DIY project.

It would be great to have you along and there are already some threads on upcycling old Mars units to CREE COB, I guess any old case can be upcycled this way too!

You will be super pleased converting that old 300 man my plants are exploding in veg right now I cant wait to test my 3 converted panels in the bloom phase.

Whoa whoa WHOA!! Why isn't my name first??

Just fuckinwitchu. This is great!! And came at a perfect time. Guys and gals I'm in the process of building a pretty special one of a kind DIY light. It's one of those you will most likely never ever be able to purchase and fulfills such important role in growing ganja. My grow area is long and even though I have plenty of cobs above my new 7 foot long cob bar is gonna be perfect and a price that can't be beat. I'd love to fill everyone in and help as much as possible with any questions.

Let's get the DIY rocking and rolling in afn!
