It's been a while. I procrastinated assembling the light for minute. But here's the overdue pic for ya. I still have the other two, not sure what I'm going to do with them yet. I was going to do a sliding frame, but it's harder than it sounds. I'm thinking of aesthetics now instead. One person mentioned that the wood frame looked a bit Steampunk. That might be an interesting direction to take it.

What?

Thats a killer light. There's no substitute for home made.
Thanks @Rev. Green Genes :pighug:

It was my first attempt with DIY lightning! Thanks to Dan and the rest of the crew at @Timbergrowlights for offering such an easy DIY lightning fixture to assemble! The color coded wiring was really appreciated! :headbang:

I had to provide hardware due to my frame choices, but I'm proud of cable management, and I put shrink tubing on the wires where they go through the heatsinks. I love the push connections and color coding too. I was a bit surprised at the weight, and I'm glad I used heavy picture hangers and wire.

I got this cool old tool from an old job, and I love detail. It is pliers that twist wire like CAT5 or electrical use. I clipped two 18 gauge steel wires and twisted up a good sturdy set of light hangers.
