Just purchased 2 of the 300watt citizen kits (they're still in transit). I was really confident about the purchase and the more I read about them the better I feel about it.

I can't wait to give these a spin.

I bought myself the 100W Citizen DIY kit last month. I’m now in the process of moving to a new place and should have my tent up and running after the new year. I will Be fabricating a frame from materials I have at work. Planning on spacing the lights 12” on center from each other and hang it in my 32”x32” tent. Hopefully this light works out for 2 smaller plants or 1 larger strain at a time. Can’t wait to run some Mephisto and COBs.

Timber is top notch in service and products. I have 2 vero 29's from them and made the frame myself. Very easy. I run them in a 2x2 tent and it's more than enough ppfd.

I just finished my first round with them and they grew some great, resenous, dence buds. The heat is minimal run at 80 watts, but once you ramp them up to 100 watts they do get warm. The beauty is that you can use the pedometer to control the wattage. In Veg I run them around 50%.

Nice frame mate. What timber is that please? Have you had any issues with anything getting too hot for the timber? I always wanted a wooden frame myself so that looks extremely cool dude.

I have a Timber Growlights Framework that is 20" square and holds four Citizen CLU048 1212 (50 watt ea.) in my 24x30x48 tent and it fills it nicely, I removed the reflectors this grow to see how it works out. Great products and service.

That sounds like a nice set up @Arsenal Have you had any issues with the height of your tent?
Not really, my plants have been smaller strains ( or Ive stunted them ) I move my light up and down as necessary but the issue I've had is controlling the heat. I don't think the lights are contributing to the heat as much as the environmental issues surrounding my situation - tent is inside a closet, so recirculating comes into play. I have had big fun with this hobby and try not to take things too seriously, I like life slow and easy! I hope one day to be able to expand my setup, I bought a couple lights from Cobshop.net, @BigSm0, that I hope to incorporate at some point. Keeping it small lets me learn, and boy have I learned some things, for the future. My current goals are to produce a good solid ounce per plant without yellowing the leaves prematurely!
:pass:

I know what you mean. I treat growing as a hobby. I’m not a big smoker but growing has always been interesting to me. I have always stuck with smaller strains but my new set up may allow for some larger ones. I grow for quality over quantity. I will be sure to post my first COB journal here once I get rolling.

I'm interested, I dig the green, I like the combo of parts, I like the price. I have been lurking on light choice for a year now. I like the options on the Timber website, I'm interested the quantum boards as well as the individual hanging COBs. Anybody want to help me design for my space?
