one thought i had was regarding the X2 lenses on the Hydrogrow LEDs these are made by a chinese firm and Hydrogrow have a licencing deal. They sell these 60 degree angle lenses for $15 each. Would it be possible to have these for the GN modular series, which would give you all the options for lens angle,so about £60 to equip an MS-006 .

What's wrong with the optics on them now?

I don't see the need for a 60 lense lense mate? The GNs already have primary & secondry optics and produce a very intene light that's easily capable of penetrating very well, just look at Jtangs monster autoX,beast lol the 60 lense would also reduce your growing footprint bud :2cents:

Yh id agree on 1 of my BD she was very bushy but the MS006 was more than good enougth to push penertration to all lower bud sites there would be no need to reduce to 60:thumbs:

No need to complicate things bro, the MS006 is a very good light.

I've got one of the very first MS004 and that has 60 degree lenses and I only really use it when my girls are in flower and can handle the intensity,I would swap it for a 90 degree any day.

i would be willing to bet that a tighter len's would shorten the life of the led because restrictive light mean's more heat generated! simple physic's:2cents:

It just reduces the growing area to much imo mate,90 gives a good mix of penetration and coverage. 60 is not enough coverage,120 not enough penetration.
