Old Reviews Wedryer for drying weed?

It works well nice breeze flowing through the buds with the little fan I’d imagine it wouldn’t be too hard to source a little fan if the one that comes with it ever packed in. As for the drying I couldn’t say how good it is as I only dried some trim and about 3–4 grams of popcorn bud due to the wet weather causing my plant to get mould had to chop her down and salvage that little bit but that little bit of bud was dry enough to put into jar after less than 3 days.

The smell is contained fairly well it wouldn’t get outside of the room your drying in but you can still smell a little
Hey so after they are done in the wedryer do you put the buds in mason jars for potency or no?

yeah for sure I have tested and my opinion is that if wet trimmed it needs a good month in the jar to be a real nice smoke. Obviously test a little bit but it’s really not worth touching until a month

Wow, so what’s the point of the wedryer?

Well for me not to stink out the house when drying and to get the drying done quick. 4 days drying then straight into jars. Of course you can smoke straight away but you won’t get the same nice high and taste as weed in a jar curing for a month.

Think it cost like €80-90 abit pricey for a drying rack with a fan but my partner isn’t keen on the smell so was a necessity for me to reduce the smell.

I think it works great just wet trim and stick in no need to turn either with the constant airflow but I still move buds around once a day. It would really come in handy for people who are dealing with high rh.

I'm still figuring out the drying method right for me. I live in a very humid area. I'm the summer it's seldom less that 70-90% and the winter of ranges from 40% back up to 90% depending on if a cold fronts.

I all but ruined my first three plants using the paper bag and then I tried hanging. No go and this was inside a an air conditioned room. The humidity just fluctuates here to much. The flower smoked ok but the smell of them just was not good at all. You must can't get a consistent dry. I let a test limb hang for two weeks and it was still soft and pliable not even close to snapping stems just dropping and wilted.
Now I am trying out a dehydrator with no heat funtion. It's only a fan I can keep my room around 65F average. Inside the dehydrator I get significant humidity drop and a slight temperature drop too.

Not everyone can have a dedicated room with the equipment needed to maintain optimal conditions. We have to do what we have to do.

If you live in a very humid area and don't have a solid way to get consistent humidity you have to use alternative methods or live with flower that's just not quite right.

I use the wedryer xl and before that was primarily a bag dryer. The wedryer works really well and because its not very see thru you can also hang it in same space as grow area if necesary. It works well and is now my goto drying machine.

I just got an xl. Nice size but the fan is a little louder than I expected. I'm excited to see if it's more efficient than the paper bag method. I'll try to remember to let you know how my experience went post dry.

Hi w have you been getting on with wedryer? I found that it takes a good 6 week cure after using for aromas to be smelt again.

loyal fan of wedryer. best to wet trim the buds and then right into the dryer. 5 to 9 days later and right into a jar. can smoke right away and smell and taste there decently but gets way better after a proper cure in the jars. smell is kept to a minimum and works well.
