Old Reviews Wedryer for drying weed?

you will never take a short cut again unless you are out of weed in which case all bets are off.

That's how I found out it worked. Before saying something isn't right try it out first. That's all I ask, no point in putting down someone's way of doing things if you have never tried it yourself. You can buy a cheapo for less than 30 dollars. Chop a nug and try it, what's it going to hurt? Besides everyone's ego who has put it down?

@LazyNhazy I have tried it with three different dehydrators. Something you need to understand is I do not smoke anything. I am a reformed tobacco smoker. I have 5 super taster chef friends (I was born in the restaurant business) that smoke and judge my strains using this form. These guys are pros. Every time I snuck in some rapidly dried bud the scores dropped considerably. I did not tell them how it was dried or anything about it other than the strain until after the test.

SMOKE TEST COMMENTS:

Well for me I've been smoking for 22 years and in all my time I've never had anything anywhere near as good as what I grow. My Dehydrator goes to 74f I dry until buds are crispy and stalks still a bit damp. When jarred comes to around 60-58 on humidity and is top smoke for my friends and family I have shared with. Maybe the dehydrator was to hot? I don't know. All I know is it's good enough for me. To each their own.

Just so you know i have had properly harvested and cured bud, either way turns out just the same for me. Perfect white ash, smooth smoke, flavors are there and the buzz is killer.

I will say that over time in jars it does get more potent than from straight out of dryer.

What
Dehydrator has a thermostat and doesnt even kick on until night when temps drop below about 72. As far as smell goes I cant help. I just make sure I dont have any guest that day. Another plus for the dehydrator, faster dry means lees time with house smelling.

What dehydrator do you have that lets you go down to the 70’s? Lowest I’ve seen them go is 90f

They don't sell them anymore, if searched and found the same. I'm betting a dehydrator with the heat disabled would do just as good.
