yesterday and that is really unusual.

ok. on to subject matter.... two movies come to mind,one good one and one big budget bad one. first the good one. Europa report. a fantastic soon to happen movie.
and then there is one I anticipated because it also was about a mission that will happen in the near future. that one called Life. was big budget, big stars, Fassenbender and Ryan Reynolds
I started watching, was totally fascinated, until about 20 minutes in. the plot of the movie is about a sample of soil being returned to the ISS. something that will happen soon.
and after they get their hands on the sample, they start testing the soil, all the while talking about " quarantine procedure. after feeding glucose and warm temps. BOOM! something alive starts growing. at this stage I am thinking wow! this movie is a 9+ so after it grows awhile, the worlds most knowledgable man on possible extraterrestrial life starts tickling the lifeform through a rubber glove. we all know what happens next...………… movie went from a 9+ to a 2. a great movie ruined by a plot driven by total stupidity. a fourth grader would know better than to tickle an unknown life form.

I agree this is a civil thread, not agreeing on different point of views is no reason to bash. I actually like organics posts even though I dont agree with most of it I appreciate his different point of view in this conversation. It's easy to dispute the only person bringing in discussion that opposes the norm of the thread.

On a side note, magoo are you in the us? Sounds like you live by me. Hot and humid all day every day 365.

Are these movies you mentioned on Netflix or did you watch them somewhere else?

I am in the northeast U.S. hot now but in January it will go down to 30 below zero F.
the good one Europa report is on Netflix. the other, Life, I watched on popcorn time. if you download popcorn time, you can see all the latest movies. a couple days after they hit the theatre.
BUT you must use a VPN. to download. right now my ip address shows I am in Montreal QC. yes I am an peaceful Anarchist. that means I do as I please, and try not to get caught.
